Family Life

Children

Pietee has been pregnant twice during her time as an Honoria girl. Both times she carried the child to term, and the first time gave the child to Lady Galadra to raise.

Her first delivery was rather unremarkable, while her second labour was difficult and left her debilitated and recovering for some time afterwards. That it happened to occur in the middle of the same Shamibelian raid that trashed the Honoria House and kidnapped Naivia, her sister Honoria and best friend clearly didn't help, and is why, rather than spending the effort to place the child, she gave it up to the Kamnestran orphanage instead.

Pietee is currently expecting her third child. Drat.

Accomplishments & Successes

Scandals & Failures

The White Dove Affair:

A tangle of Old City politics, trickery, kidnappings, betrayals, redemptions and other complexities that eventually came out right, but cost Pietee more than a little in the process, both in the tangible and intangible sense.

Beaten!

Summoned to the Hydra district by a message saying that her mother was ill and needed her, Pietee instead found herself running afoul of one Lord Firistan N'Gato, who was very definitely not her mother! He chastized her for being a whore, called her by her old name of Idre, and then beat her soundly before dropping a thousand stenis on her body and leaving her.

Modestia!

While Pietee had no idea that the Madam of Honoria House was actually an amoral slaver who'd sold her own flesh and blood to the goats, she was dragged down in the anti-Honoria backlash that followed Modestia's arrest, trial and conviction all the same. It didn't matter that the House had her stripped from their ranks upon finding out that the accusations were true -- public opinion is a fickle beastie, and downright vicious when it turns.

Pietee feels some private and personal guilt over this as well. When Modestia returned after being away for some time on business, she was all too happy to give up her position as madam of the house to Modestia again, and was overjoyed to be back to a life of carefree parties and entertaining clients. She wonders, in her more pensive moments, if she hadn't given up on the responsibility so easily, or if she'd even bothered to pay attention to what Modestia was up to, if she wouldn't have been able to find out that something was going on.
