When a creature on Aerval digests food, the sustenance becomes energy. The waste is then divinely removed by the gods.

Firans have no large intestine or bladder. This does not quite mesh with the late trimester pregnancy emit 'You need to pee NOW', but perhaps the meaning of the word 'pee' in Firan has something to do with sneezing or some other compelling non-bladdery biological function.
