Overview
This small mischievous monkey is sacred to the goddess Kamnestra. It has a grey coat, with a black tail, feet and hands. Each extremity is very dextrous, and the monkey uses each to his advantage. The face is black as well, and the mouth is normally curved into a grin. They are notorious thieves, stealing bright and shiny objects to decorate their nests.
Family Life
Protik was a little monkey when he snuck into town in some Bonduin caravan. Showed up in the Glassworks where he met Majeed and took the first sip of his traditionally made beverage and hasn't left since.
Loyal companion and buddy in drinks, Majeed and Protik were inseparable, often seen at the tavern. He is said to be an honorary member of the Ellashar family since monkeys can’t really have last names.
As Majeed grows older and unable to talk him for the long walks and drinking rituals the responsibility to assure his wellbeing has pass to other family members. First to Malvina and then to Hufimo that cares of him still.
Monkey Love
During the spring of the year 40 A.U. people started to see monkeys in the city. At one of those occasions Protik was out with Hufimo when a group was seen on the roofs of the buildings at the Palace District’s forum and he followed the group. Later he was seen following one monkey in particular but then disappeared.
Protik was only seen in the end of the year in the company of a slightly smaller monkey that held a tiny one. While he went to get some ale offered by Hufimo, the other monkey ran away with the little one, breaking his monkey heart.
Accomplishments
- Won a drinking contest against Hufimo, who was about 9 years old at the time.
- Found a mate before any of the other Ellashar males.
- Got accepted in a family almost like a person.
- He was never charged or arrested for stealing and his 'treasure' is still at an unknown location.
Enemies
Large hounds, lions, griffons and basically any other animal that might try to bite, eat or kill him.

Habits
- Scratching his behind in public.
- Taunting people.
- He often tries to steal shiny things.
Likes
- Booze, especially kamnestran ale though he usually drinks the generic one, wines and whiskey.
- Shiny things, in particular if it is made of gold and it has gems.
- Female monkeys.
Dislikes
- Not having his way.
- Being surrounded by small kids that like to pull his ears and tail, which he usually tries to ran and hide from.
- To be made to sleep near other animals, like in a stables instead of in a room with a pillow bed.
