QUADEEM N'GADANIK

Lord Quadeem N'Gadanik's prolific life began from an inauspicious and humble beginning. Born in Arinzi into the life of a Hydran commoner, Quadeem was quickly disowned from his family when he fell in love with and married an Eagle named Jia from Lurashar. Quadeem and Jia lived in happy poverty until the Great War, when Quadeem joined the ranks of soldiers fighting against the Shamibelian invaders under Elianos' banner.

Quadeem was eventually caught by the Shamibelian and spent two years as a slave before he was able to escape to freedom. Upon arriving in Anarinuell -- where Jia had moved to with their children -- he learned that his wife had taken a lover as she thought her husband was dead. The pair eventually reconciled, but it was at that time the seeds for divorce were planted.

Fueled by their marriage's growing animosity, Quadeem and Jia worked to acquire much power and were eventually awarded noble titles. Quadeem named his house after his wife, but when Quadeem suspected his wife of further infidelities, the noble family of Jianni was to collapse under the weight of a bitter divorce that would perpetuate a fued lasting throughout the generations. Throughout the following years, Lord Quadeem continued to establish his reputation as a leader and consumate politician. He reattained his neo-noble title after serving Clan Leader Belik as Governor of Arinzi, and was much revered by the Hydra clan as well as many citizens of the Republic for his kindness and forthrightness. During the interclan furor surrounding Lord Amenik's regency in 33 A.U., Lord Quadeem was taken hostage by the infamous traitor Pavan and offered the opportunity to swear an oath of loyalty in exchange for his life. Lord Quadeem refused, proving once again his loyalty to his clan and to his city. He was summarily executed by the usurper in March of 33 A.U., and his body was sent back to Anarinuell for a proper funeral.
