RP Hooks for Old City

Take a peek at the Old City pages and brush up on info about Outcasts.

• Go to the different businesses in the old city and ask if they've got any work you can do. It might not seem glamorous to roleplay moving furniture around, but you could get paid and get some great roleplay and make a contact out of it.

• Be rude to waller commoners, see if you can start a scene or a fight. So long as it's kept low-key (and ideally in a tavern) then you'll probably just have a night in the cells, which then means you get to enjoy the delights of roleplay with the 1st.

• Bait a guard, challenge them to try and catch you when you're near to the old city and run for it. You can turn this into a regular event, sometimes you'll get away, sometimes they'll catch you.

• Try to dress up and see how long you can go before someone realises you're from the old city - get into a respectable place, go to merchants and pretend you want to buy their most expensive items, aim to get found out but not arrested - but even if you are you've not committed a crime so it will be, yes, a night in the cells.

• Seek out one of the 1st, try and cut a deal with them to not hassle you, or ask why they've got to be down on you all the time. Ask them what it's like in the first; ask whether you could join and what the pay is like. Your enemies are often similar to you (at the comparable 'ranks') so you might find you can both enjoy a drink with them, and enjoy running away from them.
