Official Statement

I am Renik Iberik--er, Tibenya. I strive to be whatever, man. And I don't know anything about Hralib or Throgana being dead. If I had to guess though, I'd look to the savage girl--Sarina. She used to belong to Hralib, and he just sold her yesterday because there were rumors that she was trying to kill him. Maybe she was.

Background

Once a proud scion of the Eagle clan, the Fall changed his life forever. He doesn't particularly care, though - while he'd like things to change, he's not really sure how to go about it and would rather concentrate on digging himself out of trouble so he doesn't die. But how?

Relationships

• Savanna - Renik's sister.
• Aylina - another slave, makes food for Renik.
• Bivin - Renik's master.
• Feathyr - Another one of Bivin's slaves, who lives with Renik.
• Zaridos, Sarina, Osirus -- Rival Gladiators.

Goals

1. Renik should avoid being killed by his opponents during the Gladiator Games.
2. Renik should protect his sister, Savanna.
3. Renik should sell some red cap juice without getting caught.
4. Renik should get enough money to buy his freedom.
5. Renik should prove that a Hydran murdered Hralib and Throgana--it's all their fault that the Firans ended up conquered in the first place

• 10:00PM Fidelia is sacrificed to kick off the Night of Obala's Pride

Renik Round One

Round One Reveal

Osirus has been telling the other slaves that the only way to get free is to cut the head from the body--murder Hralib, and maybe the Shamibelians will have to retreat from Anarinuell.

Osirus is having an illicit affair with another slave--Savanna. Renik really doubts that he has permission from his master, or hers, to have this affair. If Hralib had found out about it, Osirus would have done anything to shut him up.

Everyone knows that Czar is one of the most trusted slaves in Anarinuell, and has permits that entitle him to go anywhere without question.

Everyone knows that Sarina is not only one of the fire people, but a priestess of Srenna. If she were going to take her revenge upon anyone, she'd burn them. She has a fascination with fire, and wasn't Hralib burned on his face and hands?

Forlanis won the prestigious 'stinging fly' medal of honor for bravery on the battlefield, and never shuts up about it. Overcompensation, much?

So, where's Osirus' "lucky knife" for tonight's match, eh? Is he having it blessed by Obala?

Round One Conceal

Bivin has been growing red cap juice as a cash crop and selling it to the Free Firan Cities even though it has been outlawed by Tatomir.

Bivin was making red cap juice in violation of Tatomir's dictate, and Renik thinks he might have been followed while doing his master's bidding in tending to the red cap crops.

Renik has been stealing red cap juice from Bivin's crop and selling it for profit on the side--Hralib found out, and was about to turn him in.

Renik has also been using some of the red cap juice to boost his performance in the arena. Renik used to ask Aylina to make "energy" flat bread for him using little bits of red cap juice in the mix.

Renik Round Two

Round Two Reveal

Inaya has been furious since the Fall of Anarinuell, and believes that the Firan Gods abandoned the people. As such, she is one of the main converts of Obala, and leads the Slave Temple. As such, she's given unprecedented freedom, as a slave, and could easily have access to Hralib if she wanted it.

Fara did not return right home after the Night of Obala's Pride. She snuck off with Hashi. What could those two be up to that wouldn't amount to no good?

Bivin regularly enjoys his sister's huge tracts of land.

Hralib was trying to set Tabitha up in a marriage with Malentez, and Bivin wasn't happy about it. Bivin enjoys living on his sister's lands and doesn't welcome any rivals. Renik wouldn't be surprised if his master decided to kill Hralib, to keep him from meddling in his sister's domestic situation.

Hralib was a holder of some of Bivin's secrets, and Hralib kept his secrets hidden in a box he buried beneath the Great Marble Arch in the Temple District.

When Bivin drinks red cap juice, he sometimes gets wildly violent.

Bivin was drugged out of his mind on red cap juice the night of the murders, and can't remember a thing.

Aldrin has recently come into a great deal of money.

Round Two Conceal

Brizo has been harboring Ania's children, pretending that they are orphans so that the Shamibelians cannot use them as leverage against the Free Firan Republic.

Renik's master, Bivin, is "very close" to his sister Tabitha. He's also close to his other sister, Fara, who is a slave girl of Scithvor's. This is because Fara pissed off her mother, Pevifa, who refused to give her land on her fourteenth birthday.

Fara and Bivin concocted a plan to sleep together the Night of Obala's Pride, in masks--but that went awry! Bivin was so blasted on red cap juice that he asked to switch masks with Renik. Renik ended up wearing a Griffon Mask all night, and when Fara came onto him, he decided not to let on that he wasn't really who she thought he was.

Renik got lucky the Night of Obala's Pride--with Fara.

It's always the slaves who are new that fight the hardest, and Tazira hasn't even been auctioned off yet. She is fiesty and would want to kill her oppressors like Hralib.
