SALTUK COTTONMOUTH

In a clan as small as the Ticanee are, it's difficult to not be known. But even amongst the Ticanee there are those who shine out. Saltuk Cottonmouth was one of them.

Like others of his generation, he fought in the Great War, finding time despite the bloodshed to start a family. He married his wife, Zekki, in 1 BU and together they had three children, Primo, Lotis and Tansel. And though he was very committed to his duties to his clan and the Republic, he always found the time for his children, making sure they were raised with an appreciation for their own culture and trying to instill in them the same respect of the Firans that he had learned fighting side by side with them against the Shamibelians.

As relative peace finally settled throughout the Republic, Saltuk began working as a game warden for the Ranivor, an occupation he held for the rest of his life. Additionally, he worked with a portion of the Ticanee clan military, training them in the guerilla warfare tactics he learned during the Great War.

Sadly, his life came to an end in his thirty fifth year, in 21 AU. Saltuk was part of a group who were charged with using Uf's flute to put the Carnotti (who had taken up residence in a fortress between Shamibelian and Firan territory) to sleep. While protecting Neesha, the high priestess of Uf and bearer of the flute, the great beast took his life.
