SARKANA NESTEROON

Sarkana Nesteroon was born the daughter of Amulya and Junot, in the year 2 A.U., in the Cockatrice city Sarkaran. Together with her sister Taha, she grew up on the land of the Istariniad family, where she and her sister were known for their mischief and their sense of adventure. Bright, inquisitive and daring, Sarkana was known for finding it hard to settle down. Like Taha, Sarkana pursued a military career, joining the Republic forces in her capability as healer. It was there that Sarkana met her future husband Tamund Nesteroon, on the battlefields of Ellish, and they were married in 19 A.U. Only a mere year later, Sarkana lost her husband to the attack of a carnotti and she was left a widow, raising their daughter Tamina all by herself. She went back to live with her parents, who had acquired their own farm and a mercantile in Sarkaran. In 23 A.U. Sarkana lost her mother Amulya, who died in childbirth.

Sarkana always took great pride in the fact that she had been named after her home city, and she had rejoined the Cockatrice Clan after her husband's death. When the Cockatrice Clan collapsed in late 26 A.U. and the Gold Dragons went pillaging through her beloved Sarkaran, burning down her family's farm, some say it made Sarkana go mad, filled with the desire for revenge. What is known is that she went to Anarinuell, to assault a Gold Dragon noble, Lady Maya Manosik. For this crime, she was arrested by Gold Dragon authorities, and in January 27 A.U. Clan Leader Jalil Firgalik sentenced her to death. She was executed the same day, making her daughter Tamina an orphan.
