Sermon Text

Lord Zin, soldiers, priests. Firstly let me give thanks for your attendance, it is joyous to know that so many are willing to come to Zin's place of worship when the need for prayer is called.

As you stand here now, you are being given flowers. Lord Zin greatly loves the offering of flowers for he is apart from His Mother's land and no flowers grow upon the ocean. This is particularly topical for the moment.

Rain is ever vital for the crops to grow. It is a particular crop we need to grow..and it requires rain..a great deal of rain.

In order to present this crop...requires daring heroes willing to brave all to accomplish their task. I am sure anyone who knows me doesn't need to be told that Lord Zin greatly loves heroes and adventurers. So these must be doubly blessed by him, growing a flower of sorts within his rain and daring a great adventure to do so.

Some have been heard to wonder why it is that Lord Zin might care so much about our battles here. What is not so well known is that a group of Ticanee, again daring and adventurous, did save the Right Hand of Zin from her torture at the hands of the Shamibelians. They did commit unjust acts upon her. To allow the Goats to assault one of Lord Zin's favoured..and to not take righteous vengeance upon them is something we cannot allow. The gods support us, they give us light, and plants and animals...and rain.

How fitting it is then that all these things should come together. The wrongful acts done unto Lord Zin, great adventure and danger for heroes to risk themselves...and the need for rain.

I ask you now to join me in prayer to Lord Zin, that three nights hence he shall unleash a grat flood of rain upon Fort Zayes and it shall continue for six days until the night before our battle to take that fort.
