Sett

Overview
SETT AURIK
Born into the well-known Aurik family in the early years of the Unification, Sett decided early on to follow the two standard Aurik vocations, farming the land while training to defend his people from the Shamibelians. He was known for spending his life devoted to the idea of helping others, whether it was through military protection, feeding the less fortunate with the bounty from his land, or simply by helping the average Firan on the street.
Sett was always politically active, joining the force to overthrow Clan Leader Jalil during the Gold Dragon civil war, for which he and his brother Anikos were condemned as traitors and sentenced to death. To avoid the punishment, Sett opted instead to work off the sentence, swore fealty to Clan Leader Jalil, and focused his political energy on becoming a delegate for the Firan people. He served two terms as delegate, continuing to base his beliefs on the idea that a man in his position should always strive to help others. Sett eventually left the military life to serve his people in another way: He became a full priest at the True Temple, and married Mes Jayni, with whom he fathered a daughter, Setia.
After the tragic death of Lord Halakeye Ista Aldrik, Sett became enraged with the way the investigation was being handled. He organized a riot against Clan Leader Jalil and the Bears, confronting his own brother, Anikos, as he attempted to set fire to the family estate. Anikos defended himself, knocking Sett unconscious, at which point a piece of the burning building fell and crushed the man.
