The Original Seven

The Seven Heroes were the people chosen by the Clan Council to battle the Great Beast in the original table-top version of Firan, run by Adam and Steph before FiranMUX existed. These heroes included (in the same order as their portraits, above):

Zarid, a petty thief, was forced to represent the Eagle Clan because he had "accidentally" killed the actual representative before he could get to the Clan Council to report for duty.

Their Companions

A handful of other characters joined their ranks over time:

  • Sabine, played by Jennifer Accongio
  • Torvahl the Ticanee, played by Mike Kaufman
  • Selene, also known as Ivy, played by Jeremy's sister
  • Judano, usually a non-player character, but sometimes played by Jason Dray or Kaz

After the end of the table-top game, these characters continued to be important personalities on FiranMUX. All of them were created as characters on the game and all of them had players.

Where Are They Now?

After a while, the staff felt that some of these characters were holding back the game. A plot was hatched to get them off the game for a while so that the other players could have some time in the spotlight. In 20 A.U., the Vrelanders showed up in Anarinuell on ships and Elianos, Sabine, Bannos, Garen, Velani, and Torvahl headed off to Vreland on an important diplomatic mission. That was many years ago, and it is not certain if they will ever return.

The character Throg died of a heart-attack before 15 A.U. when FiranMUX started. The character Zarid also died before FiranMUX started giving up his soul to save Elik from an attack by Drik. The character Judano died fighting Shamibelians in the rescue of Princess Inaya at Fort Doom. Selene remains a viable (if crazy) character on the game...

Recent History

It's only after nearly twenty years now that the heroes have been gone that the Firans have presumed them dead. And yet, recently, some visitors from the Kingdom of Nekaht have brought letters from the Heroes on their travels.
