Shamibelians

The Shamibelians (shaw muh BEE lee uns) are reknowned as vicious and unrelenting conquerors. Their appearance is often described as demonic or skeletal -- tall, gaunt and bony with recessed, hollow eye sockets and pallid orange-tinted skin. And of course, the short horns protruding from their temples. Their soldiers tend to dress in dark black, blood-stained leather with fiery bronze armor plates over heavy coats of iron scales. But their appearance is less intimidating than their actions, to those who know Shamibelian history.

Shamibelians enslave those they can conquer, and kill those they can't. So far, only the Firan Clans have been able to mount any kind of real resistance to the onslaught of Shamibelian steel and chariots, and that would not have been possible without the direct aid of Firan deities. Indeed, the Firan Ranivor (or Viceroy) will probably have to contend with Shamibelian armies again in the not-too-distant future, after they have had a chance to regroup and plan.
