Sidonyus Family

Overview

The Sidonyus is a commoner family in the Cockatrice Clan. There are also three Chimera members.

History

The Sidonyus family was founded in Sarkaran by Boranis and Quilliana (then unnamed). Boranis was a guard in the Sarkaran palace and Quilliana an apothecary. In the air raids of 24 AU Boranis died leaving Quilliana, now a widow to raise their three children alone. She has not at this point remarried. After the Gold Dragons took Sarkaran the family as a whole moved to the Cockatrice district in Anarinuell. Barasa was married out into the Derato family but later married back into the Sidonyus family along with her children as part of the match between her and Maedrus. Jaycen later married into the Dranieez family. The marriage to Maedrus ended due to his old city ties and later she married Hanseliko, previously Dristarna. Reimus originally pursued a career as a towel boy but later changed vocation to Hair Stylist. He married Cellia in traditional Cockatrice fashion but she later died in the war season of 2006. He is currently married to Oribanna. Oribanna was a widow with a son from her previous marriage, Emilios. Emilios joined the Sidonyus family on her marriage. Ramisa married Petulos after an awkward and somewhat scandalous period that saw her briefly engaged to Stefan Lapis and many negotiations with the Hydra clan. Petulos later left the Hydra clan for the Chimera clan, taking Yaverna, their oldest daughter to the Chimera clan with him. Ramisa later took over the Head of Family position and sometime later the family was awarded a family name for their service to the IstaNydiam family. Laurelle and Virsan were adopted into the family.
