Kids' Obstacle Course

A fantasy obstacle course specifically designed for children of all ages. All children are welcome to participate, though the younger the child the more difficult it will be. (OOC: Child objects are welcome, but will have a higher difficulty than PCs, with difficulty increased according to the object's age). The three winners can choose between a hound, a gelding, and a ferret, with the first place getting first choice.

Horse Race

On Tuesday April 28th at 4:00 pm, there will be a horse race event at the Festival track area. This race is for horses 5 years old or younger! You don't have to ride your horse, you can have a jockey! The horse owner will win the prize! Photo finishes will require @check riding/land +luck at 5 to determine the winner. Lady Xenobia Dawn and Lady Prima Dawn will be hosting and co-hosting the event. So come out with your young horse and have some afternoon fun! Prizes will be:

Teffie Masks

People in this lighthearted and fun event try to emulate a teffie prank by painting the faces of their partners with colorful masks. Both a contest of creativity and makeup skills, it is aiming to see fantastic face masks.

Festival Foolery

A competition of comedians where no subject is taboo. The first person who can make both Prince Argin and Princess Lucretia laugh will be declared the victor, and will be named the Royal Fool. The Royal Fool will enjoy the privileges of a position within the Elianik household as a full time entertainer.

Each round of responses will begin with hefty drinking, and the winner will be the one most able to continue to make coherent and impassioned statements as his wits fuzz with alcohol!

Mystery Auction for Charity

A mystery auction. I will get a variety of chests or other closeable object, and will fill it with some mystery item. It could be something expensive like a gem, something rare like a spaniel, or something gag, like a rotten tomato. But they won't know until after they've bought the item from us. It will be an auction with people bidding against each other, and all proceeds will go to a charity of our choice.

Raft Wars

One person stands on a little teeny raft, approximately three feet square. Another person stands on another little teeny raft, also around three feet square. Your mission: stay balanced on your little platform while attempting to whack your opponent off of theirs... using only a five-foot-long padded stick.

Occupation

In this more serious variation of "choose your path" games, the audience will be representing people in an enemy-occupied city, vaguely reminescent of Ellish, but vague enough to be anywhere. They will be engaging in increasing acts of rebellion until they either escape or throw down their oppressors. The victors get the glory, etc.
