STAVROS

Stavros came to the city from Emran with his parents. His Father had been here for Winter Solstice 17 A.U., and was taking the family to the one in 40 A.U. On the way into town they were attacked by lions. Stav's mother threw and locked him in a trunk while the family fought to their ultimate death. A nearly frozen boy was rescued from the trunk, and brought to the Barnacle Inn to thaw. From there he moved to the Kamnestra temple, and then to Hope's Home Orphanage. There he stayed until his capture on Sun Jul 27, 41 A.U. while attending a religious ceremony. The Firan air force rescued him, and he became all the more determined to be the best infantry swordsmen he could. His pride was that he did strike the Goats attacking him at least three times before they captured him. He practiced long and hard under Lord Captain Marsalos, and at the age of nine was able to enlist in his clan military as a Child Aide under Sir General Vasyklo. The elderly general gave him an Iron Long sword and told him to practice with a real weapon. The boy was quite eager, and soon was adopted into the General's family by Ambrose and Jalachia in 43 A.U. shortly after his 10th Birthday.
