STERLIN NESHAREN

Sterlin Nesharen, born Sterlin Dristarna in 5 AU, lived and died like a true Griffon. Though he often ran with Old City gangs in his youth, he turned his life into a model of a Griffon Clan citizen. He believed so strongly in their ideals and their strength that he took their clan namesake to heart, becoming a famed trainer and breeder of the animals despite his airsickness when flying them.

His family meant the world to him; he made sure they were cared for and kept comfortable. It's said that without his guidance they have begun to drift apart. And almost as legendary as his love for his people and his career was his love for Latta Nesharen. A priestess of Uf and a well respected general of the Air Force, he had always been in love with her. He even chose whores that looked like her, in the days before they were wed.

Sterlin once said 'The point of being a Griffon is that you never give up about anything. Life is a game, and its not over until you're dead. You've never lost until you've drawn your last breath--you just have a few setbacks.' And so did he live his life, eventually being captured and murdered by a gang of bandits plaguing the roads outside of Anarinuell in 35 AU. He was given a hero's funeral in the temple of Srenna, spoken for by both her high-priestess and the serving high priestess of Uf in Jan of 36 AU. He is survived by Latta and his children Charis, Dmitir, and Talin.
