TP: Carnotti Tunnels
From FiranMUX
Tinyplot Name: Mission: Carnotti Tunnels
Goal: To scout and possibly discover a route that may take the Firan Republic Army into the Shamibelian-controlled territory and, if circumstances allow, to send a small group or an individual in to poison their food supplies.
Required PC Participants: Lucas, Argin, Srenni, Evander, Luna, Second Division members.
Required NPC Participants: WarShami, a carnotti or two (could be lesser).
Resources: scroll: Decoy plan, scroll: Arimatheos' Map, scroll: Encryption (Ellish Cypher)
Conflict: If Evander denies Griffon Loyalist assistance to the cause, or if somehow the Firans fail to make use/cover up this flaw, this opportunity to lend the killing blow on the city resistance will be lost, bringing bad repercussions for the Republic's ability to keep Ellish in the long run, especially since a Shamibelian warlord has been in the search of these tunnels...
Mission Details: Prince General Lucas, in possession of a map and the cypher of Operation: Make Friends, has come up with a plan, which will require only the best of the best: diplomats, scouts and, for the final mission, soldiers, will be very much needed as the Firan Republic forces seize and make use of a tunnel that could shorten their journey toward the East Gates considerably in the future!
This mission/TP will have three parts. The first will be a negotiation with the Griffon Loyalist faction to make use of the tunnel, given that the exit lies right in their territory.
The second will be the use of tunnel rats and average, leather-equipped soldiers to scout and get rid of any carnotti that linger in the area - such creatures are inconvenient for an army passing by! Masons/miners will be required to assess the possibility of using said tunnels for the passage of a sizable force and will analyze ways to obstruct pathways that are not desirable for the army.
The third will involve a second scouting of the tunnels, this time hopefully without the carnotti resistance as the maps are updated (using cartography) and certain regions that may become troublesome for the Republic Military in the future are taken note of and (with the use of architects and miners, once again), obstructed, even if temporarily. Along with this group will be another, comprised of infiltrators and a senior/flag officer who will carry out a mission to poison the enemy food supply.
