Tinyplot Name: Evil Skies

Goal: Firan pilots go up against a new Shamibelian trick.

Required PC Participants: 3-5 pilots on griffons with archers for a total of 6-10 PCs.

Required NPC Participants: 1-2 mounted @horde pilots, number dependent on the number of Firan PCs.

Resources: Griffons to ride. Armor and weapons.

Conflict: A group of patrolling pilots engages in a battle in the skies over Ellish with some dastardly Shamibelian pilots.

Mission Details: Some straight forward combat for the Firan pilots, since large scale combat will not be abundant during this tour. A group of Republic pilots on patrol encounter Shamibelians in flight over Ellish, but these aren't typical Shamibelian pilots. From some far corner of the empire, the Shamibelians have produced giant eagles which their pilots are riding. These giant eagles have been twisted and warped through dark Obalan rituals to turn them into horrible, man-eating beasts. The Republic pilots have to fight them off. This would be an extremely difficult mission with a low chance for success, so the prize should be equally impressive. Perhaps, if the Firans win, then one of the giant eagles crashes near the east gate of Ellish, wiping out a sizeable portion of the Shamibelian resistance, or at least some important structures.

• TP: Evil Skies Mission Log – As the evening wears on, the Firan air force meets a Shamibelian air raid over the skies of Ellish. This time, though, they did not just face typical dangers, but heroically faced off against archers with a new weapon: Flaming Arrows! As they came out of the night, shooting bolts of fire into the Republic Air Force, who should it be but N'Gato brothers, Firistan and Kael, who take on an early lead and rain death on their enemy. Those who were there even say Kael, warrior priest, was praising Zutiv from his perch while loosing his shots. Led by Tagda, they tore through their enemies, Riosan and Aervani each taking many shots, some of them still lit and burning the flesh as they impacted. All flew bravely, Zayus, Devran, Talikos, Alessandro, and Kadikos, facing the enemy without fear and felling each. None escaped this night's battle, not even the sniper who cowardly shot at Alessandro and was taken down by Tagda with a single shot to the head. Again, though, it was a N'Gato, Firistan, who claimed the sole prisoner.
• TP: Evil Skies Event Log – Fires sprout all over the North Gate area and the surrounding ganger shops and an orphanage. Firan forces were successful in putting out the firebomb fires.
