Overview

Tagda Leafchaser was born February 3, 16 A.U. in Anarinuell. That never stopped her from being one of the most savage Ticanee in the city, though. She has been known to be a fireball, with a temper that matches the crimson red of her hair. For a considerable chunk of her life, Tagda was only known for the mischief she caused and the unfortunate situations she got herself in. But, like every good story, Tagda has been proving herself time and time again, moving through social circles and rank to gain respect in an effort to desperately repair her broken past.

Ranks & Offices

  • Shaman of the Ticanee Clan
  • Minister of Education for Ticanee Clan
  • Commander of the Republic Military
  • Legendary Archer of Aerval

Family Life

Siblings

  • Nodin: Nodin is Tagda’s only brother. He is training hard to be a gladiator, and with his size and the dedication to their grandfather, Tagda sees him as being successful. She is very protective of her brother and looks after him as a hawk would.
  • Salika: Tagda is extremely maternal towards her sister and has become so after their mother’s death. In a way, she faults herself for “failing” by Salika since her sister is extremely dedicated to the Firan goddess, Uf. She works hard, despite the gnawing fact her sister has been won over by Firan culture, to ensure Salika that Tagda won’t ever leave her side.

Marriage

Tagda’s marriage life has been tumultuous. After her Rite of Passage, she and Abayos Mink joined each other in domestic bliss under Ticanee tradition. That is, they asserted they were married and lived in a tent until she was about seventeen. In this time, they had one daughter, Terpsana, who was quickly removed and taken to an orphanage, thought to be a child of Draugik’s. The emotional strain from the halfie scandal caused the two to part ways – or rather, they were made to part ways with an order from the Oshta.

Tagda soon found herself pregnant again by noble privilege and was forced into a marriage with Abayos’ brother, Lester. He promised to take care of her, despite the awkward situation. From their marriage, three children were born, Eesian, Analenia and Aerosen. After five years of constant fighting and strife, Tagda sought out divorce for her husband’s lack of an ability to tent her. Or so the story goes.

After coming home from a successful war season in 38 A.U., and after nearly seven years of not speaking to one another, Tagda and Abayos gained permission to legally wed from the Lady Proxy Taleena. They live happily now with all of their children.

Children

  • Terpsana: Tagda and Abayos’ first born named for their mothers. The child was said to look exactly as Tagda did, but was quickly whisked away to an orphanage on decree of the Oshta, who was afraid it would be associated with Draugik.
  • Eesian: Eesian was born shortly after Tagda’s marriage with Lester. It soon became known through whispers that the child is the son of the then prince, Clan Leader Torianos. The boy takes after his mother and loves his bow. He is currently being fostered with the Oshta family.
  • Analenia: “Annie” is Tagda’s third born named for her mother, Lester and Urtenia. She is feisty, loud, and doesn’t take no for an answer. She is completely enamored with her big brother, Eesian, and loves to brawl and punch others to prove a point.
  • Aerosen: This spitfire little boy has a knack of taking things that aren’t his and walking away with them. That, or he will just downright take them in plain sight. He’s rough around the edges and often battles it out with Annie.
  • Teya: Teya is named for Tagda’s cousin, Teyha, who was captured in the war season before Teya’s birth. Teya is Tagda and Abayos’ second, natural born child who is remarkably similar to Terpsana. She’s very quiet and has an obsession with birds.
  • Ghalin: Ghalin is Tagda’s sixth born, and the third born to she and Abayos. He’s a big, strong baby with interesting brown eyes that they still can’t figure out where they came from.

Childhood/Troublemaker Abound

Tagda was a boisterous child and everyone was quick to find this out. Oksana never had an easy time of keeping the girl in line. Whatever was on her mind, Tagda spoke. If she was inclined to do something, she would do it without thinking. If one got on her nerves, she’d beat them into a pulp.

It is this attitude that landed Tagda into loads of trouble during her childhood. During this time, she was most noted for trying to beat up Ojitar and Judanus, which ended up with the Oshta decreeing that Tagda would serve her two sons for the rest of her life.

She also got into a lick of trouble when Judanus so ordered Tagda to do his share of honey-gathering for the Ticanee Clan. Tagda and Torianos devised a plan that they would instead do Judanus’ share, and twice more that and present it to the Oshta. The plan went well, until Taria decided that Tagda was tattle-telling on Judanus and she was promptly stocked. At the same time, Taria praised Tagda for being such a dedicated Ticanee, and then left her there for the day to think about what she’s done.

Most notably, though, it was during her childhood that she came to befriend Prince Torianos of the Panther Clan. The two were nearly inseparable and did everything together. Torianos would crash Tagda’s “girls only” parties and raid the tents with eggs until every last attendee was covered in yolk, and Tagda would later shove mud in his face for ruining her fun and being an "intolerable boy." The pranks were never ending and continued into their adolescence.

Teenage Years/The Draugik Scandal

After Tagda’s Rite of Passage, events started to take a turn for the worse. Her big mouth would soon land her into a world of trouble, when she accidentally mouthed off Lord High General Draugik and called him “stupid.” From that day forward, Draugik made Tagda his own, and she was forced to do ridiculous things, like kiss him on the cheek every time she came into a room he was in. Soon, he was keeping her for days in and days out.

Tagda soon found out she was pregnant, and in all of her efforts, took to hunting every day in order to abort the abomination inside of her. After bringing herself to near death, General Alexa and Lady Xenobia jailed her for Tagda’s own safety, and kept her locked away for months. The Oshta set Tagda free, and Tagda confessed what Draugik was doing to her and returned back to her life as she knew it.

Draugik left for a war campaign that year, and Tagda tried her best to salvage the tattered relationship that was her marriage with Abayos. They decided that with Draugik gone, they would try for their own baby, since there would be no chance of it being his. Also, during this time, the Clan Council stripped Draugik’s children of their titles, and eventually, his family was killed. Draugik never returned home from war season, but Tagda was left with the aftermath.

Along with Draugik’s sentence of treason against the Ticanee Clan, Tagda was also sentenced to be treasonous as well. But the Oshta took pity on how young and vulnerable she was, and instead of taking her life, she conscripted her into the Republic Military for five years. Tagda went on to have a daughter, Terpsana, who was removed from her care but a few days after her birth – never to be seen again. Not soon after that, Tagda and Abayos disbanded by order of the Oshta. The rapid succession of events plunged Tagda into the most difficult times of her life and for months she was not to be found or bothered.

Young Adulthood/Budding Military Life

Tagda did not take well to her forced military life at first. Stationed under Unsel, the poor Captain had his hands full with such an unruly Sentry. Tagda rebelled against everything at this time, as she was filled with the grief of losing her daughter.

This was also the time when rumors were started that her friendship with Torianos was more than just a friendship after he had chosen to take his privilege on her. Tagda was devastated that on top of the scandal that Draugik caused her, she would be followed with this. She bore a son, Eesian, and remarried during this time. The Oshta ordered that all contact between the Panther Prince and Tagda was to be cut off, and she was once again forced into grieving for her best friend.

Tagda decided then she’d plunge herself into her military career in order to turn her life around and not submit to the hardships that have plagued her thus far. After the Oshta removed Eesian from her care as well, she faced her first war season with a burdened heart, and came back triumphant. She earned gold medals that war season and found a new purpose to her life. She would become an archer – the best one that there ever was.

Eesian was returned to her in the months after she returned home, and Tagda set to work to keep on her new path and stay clear out of trouble.

Adulthood/The Reformation

The military helped Tagda to reform her life. No longer was she the desperate, attention-seeking child making poor choices. Because Tagda poured her heart and soul into the military, she soon found herself gaining rank. From Sentry to Captain in just a few years, Tagda worked hard to show all the people who have been doubting her, that she is good for something.

Soon, people from all over Aerval spoke about just how skilled she was with her bow. After another war campaign, there was no doubt that Tagda’s archery skills were unmatched by most. In just a few years, after thousands came to compete against her, she was hailed as the best archer since Lord Garen, and her name has been hailed across the lands since then.

Tagda also, finally, completed her training as a Shaman, having started back when she was younger by following Mother Urtenia’s examples. She had earned her place back in the clan, or so, Tagda believed this to be true. The Oshta called on her to give her son, Eesian, back to the Oshta family to be fostered, and Tagda did so willingly in hopes it would earn her more favor in their eyes, despite the constant reminders of the rumors about her and Torianos’ alleged affair.

Tagda also serves her clan by acting as the Minsiter of Education, having built a classroom onto the Ticanee Temple in order to teach and preserve Ticanee tradition to the clan’s children.

The Shaman’s hard work did not stop there, though, and in 40 A.U., Tagda’s team of firebomb researchers managed to finish what Unsel started, creating the first Firan-made firebombs for the next war campaign. With this huge technological advance, Tagda was soon back to proving her worth, and awarded with praises from the Viceroy and His Honor Ojitar. She is currently working hard with her team to improve a secondary firebomb, given to the researchers by the Gold Dragon Clan.

Shortly after this, Tagda was promoted once more to the rank of Commander. A sore thumb in a league of nobles and royalty, Tagda is now pressed to prove herself a worthy Commander of Prince General Savaren’s Air Force, a burden which she is pleased to bear.
