Overview
A caring, patient, and very demure mes; Tamina Tahani is a wife, Professional Nanny, Tailor, and Cook. She has some healing and herbology knowledge as well. Her husband is Hufimo Tahani and he has a multitude of skills. She is daughter of Tamund and Sarkana Nesteroon. Her mother owned the shop The Mercantile which later passed on to Tamina's Uncle Petir. She works there as a shop keeper and craftsman. She lives at the Green Cottage in the Cockatrice District.
Early History
- On January 27 AU, Clan Leader Jalil Firgalik sentenced her mother, Mes Sarkana Nesteroon, to death for attacking a Gold Dragon noble, Lady Maya Manosik. She was executed the same day leaving Tamina an orphan.
- On Wed Jul 19, in the year 39 A.U. Yevette made the judgment "Mes Tamina is rightfully returned to the Cockatrice, clan of her mother and grandfather. She will, from this day forth, be known legally as Mes Tamina Tahani and reside with her cousin, Mer Petulos, and the rest of the Sidonyus family while her grandfather's affairs and house are put in order."
- Lady Rasha Didoron kept Tamina as her ward and kept a tight reign on the child raising her to be a proper Cockatrice Mes.
Recent History
- Hufimo was granted citizenship of the Cockatrice Clan and was able to join the Tahani family. She was very happy at this news!
- Tamina was upgraded in her social class from commoner to Middle Class, something she was very proud of.
- Tamina was surprised by the traditional Cockatrice Wedding, she was wed to Hufimo Fengan.
- Tamina was hired as the Didoron Family Nanny by Lady Rasha Didoron. She hopes to become a renowned Nanny in her own right. She loves working with children and at times can be one herself.
Personality & Beliefs
Tamina is always in control of herself, at least that's how it always appears. Her facade of self-control sometimes results in her being somewhat withdrawn from social situations and she prefers quality over quantity in regards to her friends. Having grown up as an orphan, she learned that she had to do things for herself and it never did anyone any good to get all weepy. Oh sure, she has moments of weakness but she tries her best to not let the outside world see those moments. It's one of the reasons that she likes working with children so much, she doesn't have to keep her guard up around them. She also learned long ago that if nobody is correcting you, you're probably doing it right and she strives to be completely self-sufficient in regards to her work. Beyond the first rundown of how a client wants a job done, she doesn't want to talk to them again about how to tend to their children. She hates having to have things explained more than once and will occasionally lose her cool with clients who like to micro-manage.

Parents
- Tamund(d) was taken from Tamina before her birth. Her father was a stranger to her. He was killed while scouting a ruined area of the Hydra district which had been attacked by an offspring of the legendary Carnotti. He encountered the beast and fought hard, but tragically, the carnotti dealt a death-blow in the end. Tamina has heard stories of his legendary sacrifice and has left her with pride. - Sarkana(d) was the light of Tamina's life. Her mother took pains to ensure that Tamina was safe. She would take Tamina to her work place so she would never be alone. Love and support was found in her mother's arms. Her mother was a healer and a clothier, sponsored by Lady Rasha Rissik. (news sarkana)

Tamina is an only child.
Marriage
- Hufimo and Tamina were married on March 9 43 A.U. Hufimo is a mystery to her, perhaps that is why she is so taken with him. Hufimo is one of a kind and she knows she'll have the rest of her life to discover the mystery that is before her all the time. She wants to be a good wife and mother, just as her mother was. She has the same free spirited heart that her mother Sarkana had.

Hufimo and Tamina have plans to have children in the near future.
Allies & Enemies
Allies
- Lady Rasha Didoron has been a maternal influence in Tamina's life since she can remember. Rasha has taught Tamina propriety and good etiquette. Tamina loves Rasha as if she were her own mother. Rasha has kept the memory of her parents alive by telling her several stories of memories she has of them. Recently, Tamina and Rasha underwent the old ancient Ticanee ritual of quilting. Tamina recalled several different memories with her mother and those she holds dear thanks to this.
- Petulos is Tamina's father's cousin. To simplify matters, Tamina refers to him as "Uncle Petulos" to show him endearment in memory of her father Tamund. Tamina doesn't know what to think of him at this point in her life. He was around and took care of her when she was younger. She has no reason to distrust this man, in other words he hasn't done anything to cause her to distrust him. Petulos was there to defend her several years over, so she is fiercely loyal to him.
- Petir is the brother of Tamina's mother Sarkana. Tamina doesn't know much about Petir, but refers to him as "Uncle Petir" to show him endearment in memory of her mother Sarkana. She wants more than anything to get to know her Uncle, with Rasha's permission she is beginning that process.
- Ramisa is married to Tamina's Uncle Petulos. Tamina has a sober respect for Ramisa. She used to think that Ramisa ignored her and that she had no interest in Tamina what so ever. Ramisa has shown care about her propriety and respect as a commoner and the overall look of the Tihani family name. Ramisa is looked upon a mother figure despite some issues that she has with her. Ramisa does come across as a force of nature to Tamina, a tempest of authority and protection.
- Barasa is Ramisa's sister and she lives in the same building, but doesn't share a room because she's married. She used to be the governess for Nydiam. She's small, beautiful and quite sweet and has several children who all live in the house with the rest of them. Barasa is the housewife of the Sidonyus family and was once the Governess for the IstaBannos family. She has been teaching Tamina all about the things she will need to know if she is to be a successful governess and she appreciates all the help.
- Timandra married into the Rissik family a few years before the Antonian Apostasy when everyone was denobled and forced to move house, as such Tamina hasn't had a lot of contact with her of late living with the Cockatrices as she does. For many years Timandra herself was a Cockatrice and she used to tell Tamina stories about being there and even stories about Tamina as a little girl when she lived there too. Since the move Tamina has only ever seen Timandra when she's come to visit in the Cockatrice district - and it seems that she knows nearly everyone Tamina herself does there. When they weren't talking about people Timandra and Tamina would talk about children and families. Timandra was very supportive of Tamina's choice of profession and has offered her help if ever she needs it. Recently, Timandra gave Tamina a beautiful stola and palla to wear to a Military Ball.
Friends
- Emranik is a sweet orphan boy with whom Tamina has befriended recently. He has the spirit of a spring flower Tamina thinks. She loves to be around him because he brings utter joy to her heart. She has been known to go and speak with him for advice on certain spiritual things. Emranik is a very bright and spiritual child, someone whom Tamina truly enjoys having around. He hasn't been seen around lately and Tamina misses him greatly.
- Eleni is a Chimeran mes of many talents. She is Tamina's hairdresser and friend. The two of them go to tea at the Lost Ferry Inn quite a lot. Eleni is definitely counted among Tamina's few friends. Quality is far important than quantity.
- Phaisia is Hufimo's sister. She is definitely a different person. Tamina has never met a intellectual type. Phaisia wanders aroud dazed and dream-like half the time. She is always busy finding out why things are and how they work. Phaisia's current project is working on a flying contraption that she hopes to invent that will allow Firan flight without the aid of a griffon. Tamina finds her intriguing, happy to consider her a dear friend.
- Aryka is a girl from the Old City. Tamina met her one evening when she came in to buy some clothing from her. She really has a good feeling about her and hopes they can be good friends.
- Oliana is a girl that came into the Mercantile a few times. Tamina thinks she is a breath of fresh air because she goes around wishing blessings on people all the time-- that is a nice refreshing quality to have in Tamina's eyes.

- Gold Dragons are her enemies, nothing else needs to be said about it.
The Soul
Habits
- Tamina has a nervous habit of tucking stray locks of hair behind her ear.
- Tamina probably has one of the worst stubborn streaks in the Firan Realms, watch out for it.
- Tamina loves to cook and donate the food to the temple or to the soup kitchen.
- Tamina hangs out at the Mercantile and is known to give her clothing away which is bad business, but she loves doing it.
- Tamina can be seen removing Hufimo's helmet sometimes, when he kisses her sometimes it hits her head ever so slightly.
Likes
- Married life. Tamina is a newly wed and finds utter joy in her new position as a wife and soon she hopes a mother. She is proud of her husband and is not ashamed to say she is married to Hufimo.
- Children and more children. Tamina has made it her mission to guide and mold the children of the next generation to be totally proper and learned of Cockatrice ways.
- Family history. Tamina loves to collect stories of her father and mother. She takes in any information possible from her family. She's been seen at the Unity Building in the Palace District collecting information on them.
- Monument Hill. Tamina loves to go and sit at this beautiful site in the Cockatrice District, she loves the monuments as it brings her closer to her father. Her special friend took her there and she's went there ever since.
- Dancing. Tamina attended a Military Ball with her special friend and all they did was dance the night away. It is there where she met little Emranik. She loves to dance now and finds it very soothing to her soul when times are chaotic.
- Tea and tarts. Tamina loves to visit with friends and family. She tries to always order tea and tarts for her gathering to have a proper visit.
Dislikes
- Hufimo's Helmet! She is constantly taking it off him when they kiss, it clunks her in the head!
- The Carnotti! They took her father from her!
- The Firgaliks! They took her mother from her, even if her punishment was just.
- Children who are incorrigible. She cannot tolerate it.
- Micro-managing clients. Those who repeatedly give her the same instructions consistently and will not leave her to her work! Leave her alone and let her work for you already!
Accomplishments & Successes
- Tamina managed to marry the mer that she fell in love with, which is very rare. Hufimo is good to her and she considers her marriage to him the most important accomplishment and success that could have happened to her.
Scandals & Judgments
Sarkana
- Jalil made the following judgment on Firan time: 07:46:03 PM on Sun Jan 23, in the year 27 A.U.: For the crimes of assaulting a noblewoman and attempted murder, Mes Sarkana Nesteroon is found guilty and is to be put to death immediately.
- Mikayla made the following judgment on Firan time: 02:57:08 PM on Tue Jan 6, in the year 31 A.U.: With the authority of Lord Viceroy Teranzik and the wishes of Lady Rasha Rissik, today the assets of the late Mes Sarkana Nesteroons's estate shall be divided accordingly. Mes Nesteroon left no will and as such the assets shall go to the closest living relatives. Lady Rissik herself has recommended Mer Junot Tahani and she wishes he have the possessions, not wishing any sort of benefit from this unfortunate loss of life herself. Mes Sarkana has two living relatives that her assets can go to, her father Junot and her daughter Tamina. Tamina is in the care of Lady Rissik and has not gone through her Ceremony yet and as such shall receive nothing at this time. Therefore the following arrangement shall be made: Mer Junot Tahani shall receive 3/4 of all of Mes Sarkana's stenis, the remaining amount to be left in a holding account for Mes Tamina once she finishes her Ceremony of Souls. All of the clothing, jewlery and other physical assets are to be taken by Mer Junot until such time that Mes Tamina can make use of them, after her Ceremony of Souls. These actions shall be undertaken immediately without any questions. Gods care for Mes Sarkana's soul and those that grieve for her. The judgment has been made. Let it be done.
