TAMUND NESTEROON

Tamund's service to the Republic began at age 13 the day Elianos rescued him and a group of refugees from the Shamibelian raiding party that had wiped out most of his family. Joining the army right then, he ended up serving for 23 years, mostly as a sentry on the front lines of the Shamibelian frontier. At the age of 35 he proudly accepted a promotion to Centurion and was given the title of Headsman, in charge of troublesome soldiers and recruits. He met his wife Sarkana on a battlefield outside of Ellish, and the two were married a few happy months later.

Tamund died as he lived, serving the Republic. While scouting a ruined area of the Hydra district which had been attacked by an offspring of the legendary Carnotti, he encountered the beast and fought hard, but tragically, the carnotti dealt a death-blow in the end. The brave centurion's last thoughts were of his beloved wife and unborn child which may explain why he was found with a serene expression on his face in spite of his violent death. He is survived by his brother Vespasian, wife Sarkana, and daughter Tamina.
