Overview
Soft curls frame a plain, round face, sweet doe eyes lost above her chubby cheeks and overlarge nose. Yet, her smile is so wide and radiant, it reaches even those shy eyes and brightens them. Somewhat overweight, she might have a pleasant shape if not for her stiffly rounded shoulders or the inward curve of her feet. She walks with a shuffle, toes angling together.
Tazira lacks the grace and beauty of most noblewomen, but her warmth is unparalleled. She is a kind woman, giving unto others what she might rather keep for herself -- sometimes a warm cake, other times a new cloak. Insecurity partners with generosity, however, and Tazira often relies more on the praise and gratitude of others than her own sense of duty. Because she conforms so specifically to the expectations of each friend and family member, she projects different images for different people. Around one lady, Tazira may giggle over fashion; around another, she may solemnly discuss the structure of society. Yet, at heart, Tazira is no such chameleon. She is a soft, sweet girl struggling desperately to keep up with the world around her -- a vast and overwhelming world, by her estimation. Tazira feels she is too weak, too plain and too clumsy to live up to her great bloodline. More than anything, Tazira wants to shine like her sisters or her golden brother, but she is quick to resign herself to obscurity. Indeed, she downplays almost all her strengths -- her big heart and her big smile -- in favor of self-imposed flaws. She is too kind, so she must be stricter; indeed, she hides her kindness and generosity behind a sort of mock snobbishness, bordering on the absurd. Tazira is constantly pushing against the current of her life, and only around her perceived and social inferiors does she relax. What are they there for if not to flatter her? And Tazira breathes their praise.

- Emeelya Firgalik
Emeelya Tazira loves her mother, but at the same time worries that she is too much like Emeelya for her own good. They both shuffle, and they both are weak -- it is as if Tazira inherited the worst traits from Emeelya and none of the good ones. Tazira strives to treat her mother well and set a positive example, should anyone wonder how they should treat Tazira when she is older. Mostly, though, Tazira hopes she does not get kicked out of the family like Emeelya did. Even if only briefly.
- Jalil Firgalik
As Jalil's youngest daughter, Tazira rarely ever shone very bright in his eyes. She was extraneous -- a girl, with little to offer the family except what her mother already gave. Tazira does not try to stand out to Jalil. In her mind, he is a distant, powerful man, to whom she is related by blood and name alone. She would please him if he asked, but she does not think he will, and she does not worry about it either.

- Clan Leader Ojitar Firgalik
Ojitar, the golden child, is clan leader now, and a very, very important person. Tazira wishes she was close to her brother -- around strangers, she will claim they are very close indeed -- but she knows she is just another face around the Firgalik mansion to him. By Tazira's estimation, Ojitar is about ten times more spectacular than she is, and so she simply watches and adores him from a distance. Still, she hopes one day he will notice.
Judanus used to be trouble -- dark, sneaky, mischievous trouble. Tazira figured this was because of his Ticanee mother, Taria, but now that he is being dark, sneaky and mischievous in the Griffon clan, she assumes his Griffon blood was the problem and really, even Tazira is a better Firgalik! In truth, it bothers her that she may not be a better Firgalik after all, not even better than her Ticanee-Griffon-Gold Dragon brother off living with the Gruffles.
- Lord Emil Firgalik
Oh, Emil. Good, round, average Emil. Tazira knows that while Emil isn't quite a familial embarrassment, he's nothing special either, and so she endeavors to treat him like he is. It's something she wishes other people might do for her. Well, even if they won't, she can do it for Emil, and so she dotes on him as a mother would. Cakes here, a new toga there. All in his best interests.
Emma has been nothing but trouble for the Firgalik family. Emma, after all, wants to be a warrior. Still, Tazira looks up to her older sister for being so different and extraordinary -- even if neither characteristic manifests itself properly. Tazira longs to be so bold and wild, and often when Emma is throwing one of her trademark tantrums, Tazira will sit back and study her dramatics. Someone will have to fill the void Emma leaves when she marries into the Teranzik family, after all.
Jaline is the perfect one. She is beautiful, graceful, sweet and polite. Tazira makes no show of hiding her jealousy. Oh, how she envies Jaline! Jaline has always had it so very, very easy, and now she is going to marry a clan leader and live a truly spectacular life. Tazira does not have enough of a backbone to torment Jaline -- and she'd like to -- so instead she makes sad eyes at her sister and seethes inwardly.

- Xamori Teranzik
Xamori is a gaudy, audacious, rude little snit of a neo-noble tramp. She is determined to take Xamori down a peg or two, even if Tazira nurses the suspicion that Xamori is more likely to take /her/ down those pegs.
Allies
- Tia Firgalik
Tazira adores Tia. She used to be a princess! Tazira can tell. Even if Tia was dressed in rags, Tazira thinks she would still look like royalty. Tazira considers Tia a role model, and strives to emulate her however and whenever possible. Tia currently has command of the soup kitchen, so Tazira acts as her little sidekick!
Lady Seyhalia Shadina is Tazira's best and closest friend, and also her social inferior. While there is a true friendship between them, there is also a sense of dependency. Tazira absolutely depends on having a friend she knows won't judge her for being less graceful, less pretty and less clever than other clan royals. Seyhalia, in turn, receives a certain amount of social protection from her Firgalik friend.
