This family is known for having extreme personalities and strong viewpoints. The Teranzik brothers, Taleo and Tergus, were known for being occasionally ruthless in business, and were rumored to lead wild social lives. The older brother, Taleo Teranzik, is an intense man who was thought to be one of the most eligible bachelors in the realm before his marriage to Clan Leader Taria Oshta of the Ticanee Clan. That they did not reside together raised a few eyebrows and furthered rumors that this was simply a political marriage.
Other family members include Taleo's mother, Lady Mauvia Teranzik, Taleo's brother, Lord Tergus Teranzik, Taleo's son by his first wife, Leonus Teranzik and his wife Pia, formerly a Didoron. Leonus and Pia have a daughter, Teonia. The Teranziks are strong advocates of the system of nobility and have been formidable foes to all Elianos' efforts at trying to lessen the gulf between commoners and nobles.
Lord Tergus' adopted daughter Toozi left the family in April 23 A.U when she married Lord Nikos Tanelish of the Eagle Clan. There were to be more losses to the family. Lady Mauvia died during the Shamibelian Air Raid of 24 A.U. when a griffon crashed into the Teranzik Estate, burying Lady Mauvia and Tyrontino, Tergus' son from his marriage to Lady Arcadia Firgalik, under rubble. Tergus himself was executed for treason in early 25 A.U. for the murder of Lord Kemet Manosik that he had committed against his Clan Proxy's orders. All of his children that he had with Lady Nalia Iberik, Talion, Tarnot, Tiernan and Teriana are Iberiks of the Eagle Clan.
As a result of the Gold Dragon-Bear war, Lord Taleo was named Proxy for the Bear Clan and he divorced Clan Leader Taria, to marry Lady Petrina Ista Aldrik in May 25 A.U., to join the Ista Aldrik family. He named his daughter-in-law Pia as his regent as head of house, with a successor to be named. Before leaving the family, he officially adopted Trianna, wife of the Bear Clan Sharanir Sir Caracallo Firini and sister to Lady Shara Istabannos to his family, with full inheritance rights. By this decision, Trianna, Caracallo and their children Rianna, Sinan, Carina, Belome and Cassi are now full members of the noble Teranziks, with all rights and privileges.
After a time as proxy, Lord Taleo separated from his wife Lady Petrina and resumed his position as a Teranzik. He also remarried Clan Leader Taria. Lady Pia remarried in 39 A.U., this time to Lord Donos Ista Aldrik. Her daughter Teonia married Prince Savaren Elianik and has since become Princess Teonia Elianik. Lord Empyrean joined the Bear clan after his Ceremony of Souls, leaving the Royal house of the Ticanee for the Teranzik family. In 41 A.U., he was married to Lady Emma of the Firgalik house. She became Bear and Teranzik.

$ Trianna was adopted into the Teranzik family along with her husband and
children, with full noble inheritance rights by Taleo Teranzik.
^ On October 6, 27 A.U., Taleo, the current proxy for the Bear clan, banished
Caracallo to Caldera City, stripping him of nobility, last name, and forcing
a divorce with Lady Trianna. Caracallo was banished for the reasons of
disloyalty, ingratitude, and betrayal of the Bear clan. Trianna later married
the widower Xegolus Shadina, who brought his daughter Xamori with him.
