Overview
LORD TERGUS TERANZIK
Born in Eeshor three years before the unification, Lord Tergus, the younger brother of Lord Proxy Taleo Teranzik, was widely known as a horse breeder of legendary repute, undoubtedly the most superior in the Republic. He also had a talent for brewing delicious wines that were of great renown. With the usual fervor of Teranzik males, he worked hard and played just as hard, wenching, drinking and fighting with the best of them. His vivaciousness was famous, as was his sense of humor, a trait that made him very popular with children. Under all this playfulness, there was a man who was very dedicated to his family and to his clan. It was this dedication, some say, that made him kill Lord Kemet Manosik during the riots that are now known as the Kemet Massacre of 24 A.U., a dedication to calm down the masses who were eager to see the Gold Dragon noble dead.
Lord Tergus Teranzik's death is viewed by many as the final chapter of a year of turmoil and war. Many of his clansmen called him a hero, for his saving of lives and doing the right thing, while others hail him as a traitor who went against the orders of his Clan Proxy. For the Gold Dragons, this man was the ultimate enemy, the man who killed one of their own, broke an agreement between Gold Dragon and Bear Clan and ultimately started all following wars, and his death was welcomed. He was judged guilty of treason by the Republic more than a year after Lord Kemet's death, on February 3, 25 A.U. and was executed for his death. He is survived by his wife Lady Nalia Iberik and their children Talion, Tarnot, Tiernan and Teriana.
