Overview
This young woman is somewhat pleasing to look at, with her expression almost always filled with wonderment. She has delicate pouty lips, which she often uses to her advantage whenever she feels she is not getting her way. There's a rosy glow to her cheeks and her eyes often sparkle mischievously. Her hands are soft and tender, belying the fact that she has probably never done any earnestly hard work in her life.
Ternesa is a complicated person; her moods are often stormy one moment and in the next, she's bubbly and happy. She's very passionate about the things she does, and absolutely loves to gossip and work on hair. She's a very shrewd young woman and can quite often see through deceptions. She's had plenty of practice with her brothers and sisters often trying to make excuses for some of the things she does. She often feels very lonely because she doesn't want to share the life of crime of her siblings and at the Dove, she finds herself not-quite like the other whores. She reconciles being sent to the Dove with being more like her mother -- perhaps in an unexpected way, but a way all the same. It is not a crime to be a whore, even if she lives in the Old City, and Ternesa may not like it ... but that is the situation dealt and she's intelligent enough to know that she should press forward.
Ranks & Offices
- Former Acting Head of House for the Rabiashik famiy, 41 A.U. to 42 A.U.
Family Life
Parents
- Unknown father
Siblings
(All are former Rabiashiks, names revoked upon the family's dissolve)
Rabianos is Ternesa's older brother. He's very resentful of the treatment they received within the Iberik household while they were living there. They were treated little more than servants or children of servants. Ternesa didn't mind it so much, as they got regular meals, a nice place to sleep and lots of other perks. Rabianos went on and on about how they were so much better than that. He didn't go with Paulos and Alyosha when they were taken into the Rabiashik household. No siree. He ventured off on his own and ran off to the Old City. He keeps trying to get her to come, to run away with him, but so far she's resisted his efforts. She was happy to be moving back to her cushy lifestyle of being a Lady's Maid within the Iberik household. They might not have been parents to Ternesa and her siblings, but at least they saw to their needs and made certain they lived comfortably. Who needs "love" if they have that? Rabianos got into a fair amount of trouble, having been charged with two counts of attempted murder against nobles of the Teranzik family and also of Lord Judanus. Found guilty of all, as well as a slew of other charges he was placed at the front for two years. He has been back and in the Old City for a while now; Ternesa hasn't heard from or of him at all lately.
Paulina is Ternesa's older sister; she is also a whore at the White Dove. In fact, it's all she could talk about while growing up, about how much she wanted to be a whore and how she was just going to be like their mother, Yasmina. She went on and on and on about it. Ternesa could really care less what Paulina did with her life, just so long as she'd stop constantly talking about it so much! Just as soon as Paulina had her Ceremony of Souls, she moved out and became a Dove, just like she said she would. She sometimes talks to Paulina, when she's not in the Old City, but she doesn't go out of her way to go meet with her sister. Alyosha didn't like the girls talking about Paulina - but Ternesa never really cared about what she said. Paulina worked for the Gentleman's Club for a while and wound up in some child abuse scandal and had to pay a fine. Ternesa hasn't spoken to her about what happened, really. She was was going to take one of Paulina's babies after she gave birth to it, but now Ternesa is living with her sister at the Dove and that won't quite work.
Kamar is another of Ternesa's brothers. His /real/ name is Ashokamar Quentinus Istarabi. It's quite a mouthful. She's glad he changed his name. Now that he's a member of the Old City, he certainly wouldn't have lasted very long with that name! She doesn't get to see him as much, but she's glad for it when she does. He's one of the few people she confides in now and again. Really confides in.
Ternesa finds Zellonos a bit annoying. He's her brother, sure, but he's always talking about what's prim and proper and what not. She thinks that it's because he really doesn't remember their mother and she thinks it's because he's been hanging around Alyosha too much. She needs to reform him of those notions that Alyosha keeps feeding him, but she's not quite certain how to do it. Having Rabianos beat it out of him really isn't the right answer, is it? When Ternesa became Head of House, Zellonos moved in with her and Ternesa was happy about it. Ternesa so wanted to have her brother happy as she was with Korok so when he asked if he could marry, even to a mes Nesa didn't like, she caved and said yes. Contracts were signed, date put into motion, then nothing, something happened and Ternesa got a messenger from Ania, saying that Zellonos wasn't to marry Rayna, and that he had to marry an Eagle girl. Ternesa wanted to know why -- after all, the family was basically just her and Zellonos at that point -- and everything went horribly wrong. It's probably not his fault, but everything just went to pieces. Ternesa still does not fully understand why that marriage plan unraveled.
Ladonna is Ternesa's youngest sister. She's not the brightest bulb in the group of them really. In fact, most of them think she's just plain... well... stupid. Ternesa won't sugar coat it. That's what she thinks. However, that doesn't mean anyone is allowed to mess with her baby sister. She'd be the first of her siblings to knock someone down in a brawl if they insult Ladonna or make fun of her in any fashion. She also seems to have grown up a little bit and might still be a little 'slow' but maybe she'll grow out of it. She was steadfastly against Nestrini, since he was from the Old City, but less vocal about it than Paulina. Ladonna got into some trouble a while back, she was said to have forged a will or some sort. While Nesa's not too sure about that, Nesa grew sadly away from her sister after Ladonna married, and Deelia made Ladonna her number one enemy. After Lady Deelia was sent away, there was a lot of bad blood between the sisters and to this day, Ladonna generally stays arm's length from Ternesa. In a pinch, though, she pops up; she took the girls when Ternesa was sent to the Dove - and Ternesa knows how Ladonna feels about kids!. They live in that awful big house of hers with that awful old husband Ternesa has never met.

Accomplishments
Scandals
Gossip has spilled out from the Iberik estate and is being traded about over mugs of ale in the bars. "Have you heard?" one scullery maid asks. "Lord Anzo has been allowing a 'servant', Mes Ternesa, to stay in his room. His own, /personal/ room!" Even Eagles have to shake their heads over this. One maid claims that he was just being kind and gracious to her discomfort in the late stages of her pregnancy but this is brushed aside as the duty Ternesa's husband should have been seeing to. "Lord Anzo, my feet are sore! Won't you rub them for me?" laughs one cook. "Lord Anzo, my arms are sooo tired! Won't you finish scrubbing the floor for me?" squeals another uproariously. With the Iberiks suffering from a bit of scandal already due to Yasha, these actions taken by Lord Anzo are not seen favorably and Ternesa, being the daughter of the infamous traitor whore -- Yasmina -- is thought to be following in her mother's footsteps. A collective tsk-tsk is heard about the city!
Ternesa was subsequently kicked out of the Iberik estate by Lord Yaffros and sent to live somewhere, anywhere, else. She chose to live with her husband in the Chimera District. This would prove a bad idea.
- Eating Poison while (possibly) Pregnant
At some point after being escorted from the Iberik house, Ternesa was seen buying (and eating) foxglove in the marketplace. It is unclear if she was pregnant at the time, though she seemed to proclaim as much, and she claimed that the entire incident was a mistake and just because of her own ignorance. Few argued.
- Lion's Gate Apartments Fire Accident
This was the last straw for Ternesa. When, in 40 A.U., she burnt down the Chimera clan's Lion's Gate Apartments, Torianos declared that Ternesa must be divorced from her husband, the children owed to the Chimerans returned, and that she may never set foot in the district again. Not long after that judgement, then Proxy Lady Ishani Tanelish made a judgement stating that Ternesa must give Torianos and the Chimerans a sum no less than one million stenis in two weeks.
Torianos made the following judgment on Firan time: 03:33:40 PM on Fri Mar 15, in the year 40 A.U.: I'm sure it is known that the Chimera clan recently was the victim of another fire within the district walls. The Lion's Gate Apartments have been made completely useless by the blaze and the first division informs me that the person responsible is a Mes Ternesa Kiriakos of the Eagle clan. I'm not one to press my authority into other clans and due to that, I am mandating that Mer Nestrini divorce Mes Ternesa and that all of the Chimeran children from their union, be returned to him. Mer Nestrini is required to report to Lord Inarus and help in the rebuilding effort however is deemed appropriate. As for Mes Ternesa, I leave that to the Eagle clan. That being said, Mes Ternesa has caused problems before and this fire is just the final straw, we don't want her within our district anymore and the gate guards have been informed to keep her from entering. If she enters the Chimera district, we will assume it is to perpetrate an act of either vandalism, or gross stupidity, and any member of the Chimeran Militia who catches her in the district, is ordered to arrest her on sight so that whatever nonsense she's up to can be thwarted.
Ishani made the following judgment on Firan time: 06:07:55 PM on Fri Mar 15, in the year 40 A.U.: As it seems a timely response is in order following His Honor Torianos' recent judgment regarding Mes Ternesa, so I note the following: Mes Ternesa has been observed donating large sums of stenis to charity recently. This is to be commended, of course, however that stenis should have been sent to the Chimera Clan to help make amends for the destruction she caused with her negligence. As she had such ease in making these large donations, this judgment should be of equal ease, I am sure. Mes Ternesa is hereby ordered to pay 1,000,000 stenis to the Chimera Clan - an amount I will personally match - to aide in the rebuilding in their district. She has two (IC) weeks in which to present the funds to His Honor Torianos. It is obvious she needs heavier guidance in her life and without a family, such a duty might best be served by an intelligent noble sponsor. Mes Ternesa has one (IC) month in which to find sponsorship. It is my hope she will gain some insight from such a relationship. We will review this matter further should it be necessary.
- Disbanding of the Rabiashik Family and Whoredom
In 42 A.U., Ania decreed that the Rabiashik family would be disbanded due to the unsaid actions of Ternesa. She was sent to the White Dove Rising to learn humility. Ternesa's children were removed from her custody and she was divorced from Korok.
