Overview
A woman with exceptionally beautiful eyes, Thaddia has sapphire blue eyes, shoulder-length shiny auburn hair and olive skin. Thaddia appears to weigh about 150 pounds and stands about 5'10 tall. Long, lithe, and solidly built, Thaddia is a woman of extraordinary good looks. It's not just her pretty eyes or her cat-like grace. This is a woman with sinewy muscles, strong legs, and lovely, athletic shoulders. If she resembles any Goddess, it is the warrior goddess. Especially the way those sapphire blue eyes stand out starkly from her dark olive complexion. Her face is pretty, her lips are lush and feminine, but her hands tell a different story. Calloused, with short, well-kept fingernails, they look as if they have been put to use for more than tea parties.
Early History
Born as a Bear in 24 A.U., Thaddia was named for her father's brother, Lord Thaddeus, who died of poisoning in Ellish. When her mother became Chimeran Clan leader, she too became Chimeran, and was nannied by Balinda Garkensen and her family. But Thaddia and her brother Torianos were taken to live with the other princes and princesses in the Palace, sharing the nursery with cousins. Being an Elianik and trying to prove her worth as a viable candidate for Ranivor beside older, more experienced princes while trying to live up to people's expectations of her as a princess became Thaddia's very frustrating life. The tomboy princess grew up to be a soldier, a wife, and a mother.
Recent History
Thaddia's whole world came toppling down with the duel that ultimately would be the cause of death for more than just princes Argin and Zaridos. She is still learning to rebuild her life.
Personality & Beliefs
Thaddia was always over the line of what the people expected from a princess, as much to her own frustration as those around her. She believes with her whole heart that she was born to do something important for her people, that she has merit that she has to prove. Most comfortable amongst other soldiers—most happy in a uniform, where she can throw dice or throw a punch, Thaddia nonetheless does not disdain all things feminine; but neither is she a retiring wallflower. She speaks her mind, she studies, she practices, and it frustrates her when people tell her she can't do this or that because she is/was a princess.

- Beat up attackers at the Chimeran Compound during the Kinslayer War -- Ion, most famously
- Led members of the Chimeran militia (Ursina, Judas, Phoenix, Karna and Oliana) to victory against not one, but TWO squads of Goat raiders during the Air Raid of 49 A.U. She didn't lose a single person.
Scandals & Failures
- Managed to piss off all of Taleo's daughters at 15, most notably Tanya and Taleena. She dueled the former, and they've been good sparring partners since. The latter? Still hates her.
- Turned down for the Deputy Viceroy position MULTIPLE times. Taleo wanted her to do what she's good for instead, citing concerns the Hydrans and Gold Dragons would riot.
- Nilara. Everyone knows Banian fecks anything that moves. Neonobles count! He got her drunk and "accidentally" Eesha'd Xamori's daughter, days before her wedding to Lord Aldrin-- and SHE got doved for it. Duels! Speeches! Humiliation. Years of being "poor Thaddia." And its always, always the woman's fault.
- Elianik, and acting Queen during the Kinslayer war. She didn't support her stupid cousins' duels, but apparently she was supposed to stop them, even though she wasn't even there. Seriously, have these people ever tried to tell a prince to do anything? Thaddia lost the child she was carrying during the riots. Lost her home, and her title, and yes, her family name. Lost her property, lost her proxyship, and her right to participate in politics.
- Ania and Banian apparently found time to dodge the mobs during the war long enough to get it on in the IstaBannos mansion, according to a witness. After sharing the witness with others, Thaddia made a big speech about it. Again, its always the wife's fault. Someone else always pays for their messes. Thaddia refused to duel Ania and roll around in the mud with her over that worthless piece of offal. People evidently hadn't seen enough blood.
Enemies
- Banian IstaNydiam: Liar. Betrayer. Murderer. Newly single!
- Ania IstaNeysani: Slept with Banian during the Kinslayer War, while Thaddia was more or less waiting for the mob to break in and tear her to bits-- a celebration that happened just a bit prematurely, because Thaddia survived. At least she expected treachery from her husband. Ania's betrayal struck her firmly between the shoulder blades, and she wasn't about to keep quiet about it. Not that anyone cared about the truth.
- Rikon IstaNydiam and his shadowguards: The enemy of mine enemy SHOULD be my friend, right? Except the psychopath has sworn to kill Nydias.
Allies
- Emma Teranzik: Thaddia's friend through thick and thin.
- Teonia Elikista: Sister-in-law, occasional stitch-n-bitch partner.
- Balinda Garkensen: Once nanny and teacher, Balinda has tried to take care of Thaddia her whole life.
- Zutani Zutivik: All of Thaddia's sponsorees jumped ship on her immediately after the Elianiks fell; all but Zutani, and Thaddia will not forget it.
- Cataryna N'Gato: Another dear friend, they share the cherry wine, secrets, and service within Elik's temple.
- Elene Ista Aldrik: Thaddia's aunt, half her age. Thaddia calls her "Sparrow."
- Nalene Corinala: Uncle Sadin's daughter by Yasha. You'd THINK that wouldn't work out so well, but somehow it does. Thaddia calls her "Finch."
Miscellany
Habits
- Thaddia cuts her hair to the shoulder. Long hair is difficult to maintain, and it gets in her way at swords practice. She just does not have the patience for something as trivial as hair, when its going to spend a lot of time out of pins and shoved under a helmet.

- Thaddia's favorite flower is the daisy. Lord Elik filled the Great Temple with daisies in the middle of winter for Thaddia's wedding.
