Overview
Tall and confident, this lovely woman's presence radiates grace and commands respect. She holds her head high, shoulders back, and her posture is exceedingly straight. The woman has a regal appearance and is clearly of royal bearing with her blatantly aristocratic features. Fine silk locks are forever sweeping into her face no matter her hairstyle. Mysterious, dazzling emerald green eyes, slightly slanted in a cat-like way, provide a sharp contrast to her dark hair. A seemingly omnipresent, deep, dimpled smile quirks her lips and looks rather like the woman has a secret or knows a truth but is not sharing. She is an extremely beautiful woman altogether with a beguiling charm and outgoing wit.
Princess Tia Elianik would later become Lady Tia Firgalik, then eventually Lady Firgalik. She is known for loving animals and having a strong sense of self, of duty, and sees herself as the up and coming nerve center of the Royal Family -- both the Firgaliks and the Elianiks. She retains close ties to the royal family of the Republic and continues to see herself as a Princess, of royal blood twice over. She has a piercing squeal inherited from her mother has been known to fill the halls of the Palace whenever she so chooses. She is often demanding, usually stubborn, and almost always mischievous. As far as Tia is concerned, chaos for the sake of chaos is good enough for her. Tia is of the firm belief that twins might not be so bad but not listening to your mother is a sin the gods will punish. In fact the words 'Mother says...' are common and usually what follows is a completely inappropriate, yet truthful fact about the world she lives in. Which is not to say that she is above manipulating innocuous or innocent things that her mother has said so that they become iron clad rules that work in Tia's favor.
There may not be a girl more confused about boys than Tia. She's sure they're all stupid, all unworthy, and all not worth her time. This is because Tia has come from not one, but many broken homes. Confusing family situations has led Tia to believe that Sadin, Nydiam, Judanarius are all her real fathers and feels no guilt in getting presents from them all. In all, Tia has had a very confusing homelife which has created lots of mysteries for her to unravel. She has trouble remembering who is related to whom, but she knows it's very important for her to know.
After all, Tia has a strong sense of civic spirit. More than anything, she wants the clans to defeat the Shamibelians and return to being a proper Republic led by a monarchy of Elianiks--her family. Therefore, Tia has the spirit of a cheerleader, in essence, and is always unfailingly polite to soldiers, and encouraging of guards. Tia knows that there is one person out there for her to marry... the one man on Aerval who is not dumb as a brick. And when she finds him, he will be the only one for her.
Her growing up as a Firgalik and a Princess has hardened Tia's will and noble resolve. Tia has been to battle and has seen the horrors of the Shamibelian horde first hand. She is grounded in a reality and understands the gravity of what is to come and the decisions that will need to be made. Tia is focused on the image and roles that she and her husband, Ojitar, must fulfill. While not focused on her husband's career, Tia finds other ways to amuse herself.

Family Life
Parents
- Lady Lucretia Firgalik-Elianik-IstaNydiam-Elianik-Corinala-IstaNydiam.
Lucretia Mother knows best and Tia does like to spend time with her. She tries to emulate some of Lucretia's quirks as practice for when she'll be an important princess. Her dedication to her mother seems to surpass a mother-daughter bond into something so close that it's almost as if she could guess exactly what her mother is thinking. This is probably because Tia has never had a stable homelife, and once she was taken away from her mother--a traumatic time that she does remember, even if everyone else tells her she was too young to recall. She remembers standing at the palace gates screaming and screaming when she saw her mother pass by while the guards wouldn't let her go to her. Tia lives in fear that she will be separated from her mother again, and therefore, it's important for her to understand exactly how it happened so that it can be prevented in the future. Lucretia is currently off on vacation! How fabulous does that sound?! Still, Tia misses her mother and looks forward to her return, whenever she comes back...... which was 40 A.U.! HOW ABOUT THAT, AERVAL! Tia is quite excited. yay, Mom!
- Prince Sadin Elianik
Tia sometimes calls her father "That Bastard" because, well, everyone else does. It's not to say that Tia does not love her father. He just proved to be as stupid as possible--and most everyone says so. Not only did he leave Tia on several occasions--but once put her in a situation when she was both without her mother and her father, a stranger in the Istabannos estate, where she felt no one loved her. Her Daddy Prince Sadin was captured by the Shamibelians at the time, so it was not entirely his fault, but in Tia's opinion people get caught if they are dumb. Therefore, she knows he's strong and brave but a complete fool. Now that Sadin has come back from "exile", she'd certainly love him again, though, this time she'd lay down the rules. And she wants to know what "exile" means, because she's sure it's very bad and that she never wants it to happen to her. During the Scirlut incidents, Sadin did not come to Tia's wedding like he had never come to her CoS or been there for her. It was hurtful especially when he asked her not to marry Ojitar as if she should somehow drop her life for his own. She refused him and if she saw him today she'd look the other direction. He married that Leyla bimbo and hasn't been heard from since the Scirlut incident. Good. Really. Good.
Tia has come from many broken homes. She was born (and remained) an Elianik throughout her parents numerous divorces and remarriages. She lived with the Royal families of the Republic, the Cockatrice, and the Griffon when her mother married into those assorted houses. However, she spent much of her life in the Palace, growing up with the Lord Viceroy Taleo Teranzik as her steward.
Siblings
- Prince Lucas Elianik. Lucas is her first brother, full brother, and the first boy child of Sadin. He protects her without fail even if he must be beat to a pulp to do it. He looks like Sadin himself and has a horrendous problem with too much honor. Tia interferes in his life a lot to keep the girls away since she knows girls will only destroy him in the end. Why? Because he is probably dumb like Daddy Prince Sadin, and as her mother says, men like that "Just can't handle women." Tia loves her brother and loves that he will protect her.
- Prince Argin Elianik. Argin loved to play with his sister Tia. They've played all sorts of games including pirates, captured princess and fight the big dragon. There was a time when Argin played a really fun game where he wouldn't talk to anyone but Tia and he'd talk through her and make her say everything he wanted to say. Now that they've grown to big for pretend games, Argin normally just writes his sister interesting letters or finds her flowers and gifts.
- Lord Zayus Firgalik. Son of Lucretia and Judanarius Corinala, the last in a string of father figures in Tia's life who has been all but "exiled". Tia knows that Judanarius was sent away because Zayus was born. The stupid people apparently thought it was alright for Judanarius to marry Tia's mommy, but not to have children with her, and they revolted. He lives at the IstaNydiam estate.
- Lady Cecilia IstaNydiam. Daughter of Lucretia and Nydiam, Cecilia is ... well. A child. Tia thinks she's alright, so far, but if she tries to elbow into Tia's place as The Princess Daughter, Tia might have to smack a kid.
- Assorted Other children of Sadin. Lord Adan N'Gato is Sadin's bastard son and not actually acknowledged as a prince. That's Sadin for you! He was married into the Hydra Clan. Nalene, by then-Lady Yasha Rissik. Tia has no idea what happened with THAT kid. Possibly others by Leyla and assorted peoples. Sadin got married a lot.
Marriage
- Ojitar
Tia is married to Clan Leader Ojitar Firgalik. They were married in 36 A.U. in the midst of the Scirlut disaster. Tia's father spoke out against the wedding, not liking that he could not see his daughter wed. Moreover, their marriage became an attempted assassination attempt on the two of them; they nearly died. In fact, people DID die at their wedding. Not Tia or Ojitar, obviously, but there was death. After the arrows stopped, Tia opened the palace for a reception and slipped into her new role in the Gold Dragon clan.
Clan Leader Ojitar (then Lord) was never someone Tia would have thought of marrying. When he was younger, she saw him as an egotistical brute especially after he ran her over with a horse drawn chariot in the Diplomat. Even when things seemed headed that direction politically between their families, Ojitar seemed distracted and immature to her. The pivotal point in their courtship would be when he was captured at war and Tia donned her armor to go and 'save' him. Perhaps their marriage would not have started out as strong if it had not been for the attack at their wedding in which people were hurt and died. After that, all other things seemed to be easier to deal with. She also bore him a son as a first child, something that made him so proud. She hopes to have two, no, twenty more, in order to cement Ojitar's legitimacy to the Gold Dragon medallion. Tia is fully aware of the import of her blood to his reign.
She likes to give him pet names and tortment him playfully with squeals, sparkly things, and overmuch love.
Children
Tia and Ojitar have three children, a daughter and two sons. Their first (and their heir), Agrippa, was born in the year after their wedding. Their daughter Lucile was born in 39 A.U. She was named for Lucas/Lucretia and Jalil. Their third child was born in 40 A.U. and named Jaden for Jalil and Judano.
Accomplishments
Adopt-A-Soldier
When Tia was still a princess, she began an "Adopt a Soldier" program to help the Republic soldiers have some human-touch. The project fell to the wayside but in 40 A.U. it was picked back up and Tia heads it, matching soldiers to citizens for good times!
Having Ze Children
Agrippa, Tia's firstborn, was a boy! Horray! In the Gold Dragon clan, having a firstborn as a son is a great big super awesome thing -- it gave Ojitar an heir.
Jaden, Tia's third child, was also a boy! Heir and a spare, plus one girl for sparklycuteness. Awesome.
Less of a public to-do, Tia's daughter Lucile is still welcome in her mother's eyes. She was initially supposed to be a boy but Tia decided to change her mind toward the end of the pregnancy and have a girl.
Assorted Incredibly Expensive Animals
First of all, DOG! Second of all, Princess Sparklepoof is a tiara-wearin' toy spaniel that Tia luffs way more than that Diamia loves her Lady Muggles, so TAKE THAT, DIAMIA, HA! Sparklepoof's tiara is even engraved! And sparkly.
After the bear incident in Sarkaran, Tia cleverly got herself a second puppy! Prince Sparklepuff is Princess Sparklepoof's loving, doting mate. As he should be. Plus, he has a medallion. Sparklepuff and Sparklepoof have had puppies -- Lord Glistentry, Lady Shimmers, and Lady Glittentry happily reside with their barking, royal parents.
Tia also has two cats who are known for their condescending glares at the yappy dogs. Princess Shovai and Prince Boromir complete the remarkably pricey menagerie.
Open Sparkle Hours
It is what it sounds like. And it has a log
Ojitar Brooches
In 41 A.U., Torianos and Ojitar challenged each other to a friendly griffon race around the city. Tia made brooches with Ojitar's face on them and distributed them to various assorted people who <3 Ojitar. Ojitar won. Coincidence? Tia thinks not.
The WALL
In 42 A.U., Tia was billed for the upkeep of the Republic's walls. She was happy to pay! However - since she paid for that wall, doubtless the wall belongs to her. And since she is a princess, surely she owns a section of the walls in the PALACE district. Ergo, her wall should be pretty. Beautiful! And so, she had it painted a lovely shade of glittery blue with images of herself, Ojitar, Lucas, and Argin splattered everywhere. She had a tiara. So pretty. Even the Viceroy loved it!
A few weeks later, some no good vandal cleaned it up.
Enemies
- That Diamia. Diamia IstaNydiam. Stepsister. Archenemy. She's ugly and a redhead and probably smart -- and, of all things, the Clan Leader of the Cockatrice. Poor Cockatrice clan. Tia tries not to overtly show her distaste for Diamia, lest it rattle the Republic... but sometimes, she just can't help it. Once, Diamia tried to give Tia a bunny. She probably poisoned it! Tia would not accept the rabbit. She also thinks that Diamia's "title" is ridiculous and it's just a last ditch effort to one-up Tia -- which Diamia simply cannot do. Tia doesn't need a million titles! She's just that awesome. Nice try, DIAMIA.
- Luna Corinala is not so much an enemy (not in the sense that Diamia is) as someone who is just bossy and irks Tia. She's tolerable -- to a point. Tia wouldn't admit that Luna was ever her stepsister, though! Luna seems to realize that Tia is ........ TIA and has been quite willing to cater to the Tiatastic Tianess. Maybe she's not quite an enemy. Totally.
Allies
- Yvette. Lady Yvette Didoron's husband (Razesh) was actually Tia's friend first, but the Lady Didoron has become a strong tie within the Cockatrice Clan.
- The Elianiks! The Elianik family, the true-blooded Elianik family, is Tia's main source of allies. Her cousins and siblings are all among those she trusts.
Scandals
Bath house!
When Tia was younger, Lord Razesh helped her coat the bath house in perfume! It was a smelly mess and lots of fun.
Assassinantions
These are not quite SCANDALS, per se, but they certainly are a big hubbabaloo.
- Marrying Ojitar
All sorts of trouble! The Republic was unhappy that she gave up her title for a Gold Dragon, the Gold Dragons whined that Tia wasn't married in the True Temple and was therefore a whore, her father tried to stop the wedding... a number of things. There was an assassination attempt at the wedding itself -- but Tia came out married.
- A Bear Attack
In Sarkaran! Invited to Sarkaran by the Iberik family - who was overdue with several apologies - Tia suffered an attack by a bear. The attempt on her life caught the public's eye, but the investigation has been fruitless.
- Attacks in the Forum
In 42 A.U., while the city was off to war, Tia was at market enjoying a sparkly day of shiny goods. It was not to last. Gold Dragon guards were thin lipped about what happened on the way back from the marketplace today, but admitted with all that's going on, that there was an incident where they were attacked. They ushered Tia back to the Gold Dragon Mansion, assuring her that it was the fault of Cockatrice Separatists, but they allowed her to get a skinned knee in the process. They assure Clan Leader Ojitar that his wife is alive and well, but scared witless.
Drunken Brawl!
Ojitar had been coronated and his wife, Lady Firgalik, evidently went out on the town for a night of drunken brawling! In actuality, Tia had had a particularly trying meeting and her brother came to visit. He, of course, was plastered and Tia decided she should join in the fun. When Argin said he had to go to a military meeting, Tia demanded to come along. Push came to shove and the Elianik siblings were soon brawling in the training center alongside several other notable people.
Tia? Won.
Miscellany
Habits
- Animals
Tia has a knack for carting around animals wherever she goes. Rabbits, fuzzy ducks, anything -- you name it. When she has to, she'll leave them at home, but boy. She loves her some fuzzy things!
Likes
- Fuzzy Stuff!
Yay! A surefire way to make Tia squee with joy: a bunny rabbit. Or a cow! Or almost any animal, really.
- Sparkly Stuff!
Does it shimmer? glimmer? glisten? Also a way to get Tia from angry to squealing: the sparklies. She has no qualms about demanding it either.
- Silliness
Chaos for the sake of chaos is good enough for Tia! Despite her husband's rather constant protestations, Tia just can't help being a little goofy sometimes. The more giggling she can do, the better -- so sayeth Tia!
Dislikes
- Horses
She just doesn't like 'em. They're big. Smelly. Angry! And they crash into the Diplomat and nearly kill people! Terrible animals, really.
- Being Bossed Around
Few things get under Tia's skin like being bossed around. There's only one boss in Tia's life and it's Tia.
