Clan Leader Taria Oshta said this of Tia's application for Council Clerk: I should also mention that I wanted to give the post to Lady Tia Firgalik of the Gold Dragon Clan, but realized that if she did a bad job, as the wife of a Clan Leader, we couldn't just kill her, and that was a major impediment to job performance, so I want to thank her for her application and make it clear that she was my first choice, but had to be disqualified on those grounds.
