Zafir: Tia's "Grizzly" Encounter

On Firan time: 08:38:49 AM on Fri Feb 14, in the year 41 A.U., Zafir used the 'oratory' skill unsuccessfully and received an unfavorable response. The text of the message reads as follows:

People of the Gold Dragon Clan, and the Republic. I speak to you today on behalf of our Clan Leader, the valorous Ojitar Firgalik. He would gladly be before you himself, but concern for his beloved wife has him keeping a close vigil at her bedside. As many of you might have heard, the Lady Tia has been injured during a visit across the river in the Mighty Gold Dragon city of Sarkaran. Though rumors might be flying as to the nature and cause of her injuries, I stand before you to dispell all rumors. Her Ladyship was attacked by a bear."

A Commoner frowns, and shouts back - "Wut was a Bear doin' in Sarkaran?"

Zafir: "We're not sure, exatly, how such a creature began roaming the streets of the city - but you can be assured that the creature has been slain and the Lady Tia Firgalik escaped with her life.

I have been instructed to tell you all that her Ladyship has not been eaten by the beast, or killed; she has not bled to death or died of contracted infection. She has not been hideously mangled, nor has she lost a limb or finger to the creature's ravenous maw. Lady Tia is recovering well, and shall be prepared to receive gifts and well-wishes within the next few days. I suggest items made from bear pelts, to remind her that this act of Ursine aggression into civilized society has not gone unrevenged.
