Tia's Open Sparkle Hours!
From FiranMUX
There are sort of two "parts" to this. First, Tia hires a Servant of Light (someone to stand near her and hold up mirrors and torches to make her as sparkly as possible at all times). Then, she decides to host an impromptu open "throne" hours in which her new Servant of Light makes her stupidly blingy. Hilarity ensues.
Tia sits waaaaay in the back of the gardens, eying her nails. A servant shows Kariannia into the Firgalik estate, gesturing to the Figure That Is Tia.
Kariannia looks around as she's led along till she's brought before Tia. She smiles brightly and curtseys deeply, "M'lady Tia. It's an honor to meet you.", she says softly. *Firan*
"First," Tia says with a bright, bubbly smile, "Lady Firgalik will do if you need to address me with the Lady title. Now, that out of the way," she gestures to a seat. "You wish to be a lady's maid? Why the change of occupation? Aren't you a clothier, mes? As your mother was?"
Kariannia slowly sits where indicated as she nibbles her lower lip. "Oh. Well part of me wished I could still work in my mother's shop but to be a clothier or a Lady's Maid had been a decision that has plagued me since childhood.", she admits softly as she blushes. *Firan*
Tia considers the reply for a while, biting the inside of her lip. "I see. Interesting. Well. What makes you think you are qualified to be my Servant of Light?" *Firan*
Kariannia grins brightly as she is asked the latest question. "Well, I always was fascinated by any who would seek out visits from my mother. I'd watch and take in all the things around me, clothing and mannerisms that nobles would have. I learned when to speak and when not to and even how to dress them properly.", she says watching Tia almost intently even now. *Firan*
Tia gives an amiable nod, pursing her lips. "Well. Interesting. I have a test for you." Tia snaps her fingers and a servant comes forward bearing mirrors and some torches. "I would like you to best hold up the light and the mirrors, and you may make use of the Firgalik servants for extra hands, to make me sparkle." *Firan*
<OOC: ROLL> Kariannia rolls her Creativity + Fashion at difficulty 7 and gets 3 successes. Kariannia wrinkles her nose a bit at the torch and has the servant stand in front of Lady Tia almost like the statue of liberty but SHE doesn't stand there. No sirrie! She moves to the Lady and gently asks permission to touch her before slowly moving her into a much better position for the lighting. She then drapes the palla just so, puts her hair off to the side with her hairpins coming out just a bit to fashion them a might differently. She then stands back to admire a painting she'd have loved to do herself.
Tia lets Kariannia move her for optimum sparkle. She glances at an NPC servant, gets a little nod, and Tia beams brightly at Kariannia. "Delightful! You will be my Servant of Light. And you will ensure that I am always at prime sparkle. Horray!" *Firan*
Tia has a few servants spread some words and Tia instructs Kariannia, "Just... keep me sparkly. Please!" *Firan*
Kariannia blushes a bit and nods, "Yes of course Lady Tia.", she says softly taking a step or two behind the Lady trying very hard not to wilt under the light. *Firan*
Tia pauses and lifts a brow. "Mes Kari... annia, was it?" she says, not moving a muscle. "I'm sure you remember the first thing I asked you, yes? I am no mere /lady/ Tia." *Firan*
PH emit: Lady Tia Firgalik is SHINY and she's going to tell YOU how to be MORE shiny too. Do you want to sparkle? Do you want to know how to make your pets sparkle? Do you want to see Lady Tia's Servant of Light making her Supersparkly? Gold Dragon mansion, statue garden. Open Sparkle Hours. (And if you want to chat about other stuff, she'll do that, too.) @bb/19/139 for details.
Kariannia blushes deeply and swallows, "OH! Oh of course. Do forgive me Lady
Firgalik.", she murmurs squirming a bit as she stands there hands folded in
front of her as she waits for people to arrive. *Firan*
Ojitar has arrived. Elachi enters the garden from outside.
Ojitar makes his way into his own statue garden, having just been told
something is going on there. He smiles benevolently at his squealing wife
and then moves toward one of the more secluded benches.
Tia stands, squealing, in the middle of the gardens. Poor Kariannia is holding up mirrors and giving directives to servants in order to ensure Tia is emitting optimum shine.
Kalina enters the garden from outside.
Kariannia blinks a bit and bites her lower lip to keep from giggling as she stands a few paces behind Lady Tia Firgalik. She looks ever so proper with her hands clasped properly in front of her and having already arranged Tia's clothing in a bit more fashionably sparkling manner.
You whisper "Hold up the mirrors! I need to make sure I'm very, very sparkly!" to Kariannia. *Firan*
Sir Bald! Elachi walks into the statue garden, looking around at the extravagent decorations with quiet disdain. His sharp blue eyes search the room briefly, sparing a low nod and slight bow for Ojitar."Your honor." He inclines his head to Tia also."My Lady."
Kariannia clears her throat delicately as she blushes nodding to Tia again. She motions to the servants to hold up their torches and mirrors in such a way to shine the light more optimally upon the lovely Lady Firgalik.
Tia whispers something to Kariannia and then looks to the people arriving in her garden. When she moves, she BLINDS. The former Princess issues a dazzling smile, waves to Elachi, and says, "Aha. You! The man with the wayward little family. I remember you. Good day, Sir Elachi, how may I assist you?" *Firan*
Ojitar stays a bit back, away from the festivities, mired in messengers as he seems to be. He notes Elachi's disdain alongside his greeting, and lifts his head imperiously toward the other fellow before returning to his own quiet work.
Kalina wanted to come see the sparkly. ER, not the sparkly, but /Tia/ the SparklyOne. Curtseying to Ojitar, she murmurs softly, "M'lord Clan leader." After curtseying silently to Tia- whose distracted- she retreats. To watch. The sparkliness. Where is the glitter?! *Firan*
Zutriana enters the garden from outside.
Elachi regards Tia blankly, as is his custom."I merely wished to glimpse the festivities, Lady Tia. I heard you were having something akin to throne hours?" He glances at the statues in the garden, nodding his silent approval. *Firan*
Zerasmus enters the garden from outside.
Glitter having not been invented yet, Kariannia does her best to make sure the light catches Lady Firgalik just right. Her hair just SHINES and her jewelry sparkles under the mirror directed torch light as she smiles softly to those that arrive, curtseying gently.
"I am," SparkleFest replies brightly, glancing over Elachi's rather stern and
stoic face. "And at these open ...throne hours, if you will, it is customary to bring questions to one's betters. Had you a question? or anything I could do to better serve the people of my Fair Republic?" Tia, in the middle of the garden, is being attended to by Kariannia -- Kariannia who holds mirrors
and lights (clearly the Servant of Light) all around Tia. BLING! turn
slightly ... BLIIIIIIIIIIING!
Zutriana enters quietly with her guard trailing behind. Her eyes widen at the fabulousness spread out before her and she looks around then curtsies deeply, seeing all those who are her betters. She inches forward, moving closer - but not too close.
Elachi nods to Tia, actually showing a bit of a smile as he becomes slightly affected by the woman's enthusiasm."Of course, Just one question however." He clasps his hands together behind his back."How would you suggest the priesthood go about returning Zutiv's favor to the true temple?" *Firan*
Upon entering, Karanaki hastens over towards Tia. Easily identified as a servant by her clothing, she's carrying the noble's two yipping dogs. One under each arm.
<insert dogs>
Kalina eyes sting slightly even as she sidles over to the Servant of Light, gaze solemn and serious even as she curtsies briefly to Torianos as he comes in. Then, she whispers quietly! So she can still hear Tia. Goddess of Sparklepoof and Sparklepuff.
Tia doesn't fade for an instant. Indeed, she almost /brightens/. "Dear Sir Elachi," Tia begins, leaning forward slowly (mustn't disrupt the shiny!). "I am not so certain it is my place to suggest improvements to the priesthood. I am, after all, but a woman..." Her dogs are noticed -- but not squealed about. Yet. "I think pious prayer and good beliefs are the best place to start, though." *Firan*
Torianos comes striding in from the district and pauses as he can't help but stare at Tia. The chimeran clan leader blinks a few times before he tears his gaze away and looks around. Spying Ojitar, he clasps his hands behind his back and walks over to him. "Good day, your honor. What is sh-....what is all of this? I must have missed one of the heralds." *Firan*
You whisper "Groom the dogs!" to Karanaki. *Firan*
Ojitar sits quite a way back from his wife - at least, he was sitting. As soon as Torianos begins to make his way into the statue garden, the Clan Leader gets to his feet and begins to walk out the few paces that separate them. "Your Honour, you have come swiftly," he murmurs - a glance is sent toward Tia and her 'light bearer,' but he continues on toward the library. "We'll discuss away from the... Show." *Firan*
Yvette enters the garden from outside.
Tia whispers something to Karanaki when she deposits the dogs then glances at Torianos... and her husband. She frowns a little, "Leaving, Ojitar?" *Firan*
Ojitar whispers "Yes, I have a meeting scheduled. I'll be in the library." *Firan*
Ojitar leaves the garden on a tiled path.
Torianos has left.
Elachi merely's Hrm's at Tia's response."Indeed. I think it would benefit us all if We made visiting the temple and prayer higher priorities in our daily lives." *Firan*
Zutriana is so caught up in the circus she doesn't notice people coming and going and finds herself throwing curtsies left and right when her mind catches up with it all. Elachi's question makes her look briefly at him, but as he seems unlikely to be able to answer the question she has she just waits her turn quietly.
Kariannia smiles a bit to Kalina and nods, "If you'd like you can add to the golden halo of light. She is afterall one of the most beautiful Ladies in the realm. Take this and stand in front of her a few paces to the right a bit. Angle the mirror just so.. we don't want to blind her with her own light of course.", she says a bit cheerfully but still blushing of course. *Firan*
Karanaki curtseys now that her arms are free of Tia's canine companions. While she has the chance, she offers something else back to the noblewoman, then nods to whatever was whispered to her, leading the dogs aside just as hastily as she brought them. Apparently, she's grooming them for the general public.
Karanaki grooms Prince Sparklepuff, the toy spaniel, cleaning the animal up to make it more presentable.
Yvette enters the garden and is not quiet blinded, but it's hard to focus her eyes on anything but the Lady Firgalik. Even the familiarly bling-attired dogs don't quite capture the Didoron's attention like the noblewoman. "Stunning," she finally remarks with a touch of awe in her tone. She espies her cousin Zerasmus and sort of meanders that way. *Firan*
Karanaki grooms Princess Sparklepoof, the toy spaniel, cleaning the animal up to make it more presentable.
Yvette is not QUITE blinded either, of course.
"I quite agree," Tia says to Elachi in a delicate sort of way, squealing and skipping curtailed for the now. "We have done the charity work, the finding of funds, so I think it becomes a broader issue after that. We need to engage in prayers, gatherings. Showings of faith," she inclines her head as Karanaki starts to groom the dogs. This is acceptable. "If you need funding, you may ask the Firgaliks for it. If you wish us to attend, we will. Naturally. We must unite our churches as much as possible." Tia pauses, breaking from the serious conversation to give Yvette a bright beam of a hallo.
A little appalled and maybe just a touch impressed, Zerasmus hangs back, the better to keep his eyes from being dazzled. This guarded watching allows him to see Yvette's approach, rather than just have his sight FILLED with Tia and her SPARKLE. He murmurs a greeting to her as she angles in, voice pitched low: "Lady Yvette," he says with a lift of his chin. He tips his head toward Tia. No comment. Just awe.
Princess Sparklepoof, the toy spaniel barks repeatedly and won't shut up.
Kalina giggles softly and takes the mirror. Taking a few steps, she chuckles again and positions herself and the mirror so... BLING! Even shinier and sparklier of a Tia.
Tia doesn't even have to shield her eyes to stave off her own sparkliness! That's how awesome her servants of bling are. She turns from Elachi, now opening conversation with... someone else! Jump in!
Elachi , satisfied with Tia's answer moves a bit closer to the exit and away from the show. A blinging party is no place for a Hydran Warrior.
Elachi leaves the garden on a tiled path.
Yvette's smile broadens after Tia offers hers and the Didoron dips her head respectfully. "Isn't she stunning, Lord Cousin" is then murmured more as a statement than query to Zerasmus, her brows arching slightly. "I wonder if Razesh will allow me a servant of light. Though I suppose as he follows Lord Unot, it might be a servant of death. Or stars! Hmm." She muses that quietly while giving Zerasmus a nudge. "Ask her something. Like...perhaps she knows a weaponsmith who can make an axe of bling." *Firan*
Zutriana inches forward, having briefly been distracted by the dog grooming. She'd wondered how that was done! Seeing an opportunity she curtsies low and as if befitting her station in life keeps her gaze low too, which does aide in keeping her from being too stunned by the show of glitz and glamour. "Gracious lady, your knowledge of fashion is well know and I knowing so little come to humbly ask what gems you think appropriate for wedding necklaces for commoners who are merchants and own a prominent business?" *Firan*
Tia is way too shiny and busy hobnobbing with the masses to overhear her Didoron friends in the back. Alas. She glances at Zutriana and stands very tall, straight, making the Light Peeps move and adjust in order to keep up. It's not all that easy, being a Servant of Light! it takes skill! To the young woman inquiring, Tia wrinkles her nose and purses her lips. "Mes, I do believe that will depend on the clan of the married couple. Did you have anyone specific in mind?" *Firan*
Dogs fully groomed, Karanaki returns them to Tia. Yipping clean! She does not say anything so as to avoid interrupting her, but steps aside, remaining until she's dismissed or asked to do something else.
Tia lowers her voice to speak to Karanaki.
You whisper "You may stay and participate if you like. I'll tell the cook you're excused for the day." to Karanaki. *Firan*
Karanaki whispers "Actually, Tarquin wasn't feeling well the last time I spoke with him. I think I may go check on him. But I appreciate the offer, m'lady." *Firan*
"Stars sparkle," Zerasmus says in a slow, meandering fashion, while a glint of humor plays over his typically stony gaze. "Maybe a servant of stars." He seems a little discomforted by the nudge and accompanying words, although his soft snort is akin to a laugh. "I'd be afraid such an axe wouldn't be properly balanced to hit things with -- but I suppose we could always hang it in the hallway and shine a light on it, as her servants are, to light the entire length of the hall." He glances toward Tia and Zutriana, waiting for a chance, and lowers his voice a little more.
You whisper "As you like." to Karanaki. *Firan*
Zutriana keeps her gaze lowered, her head bowed. "They would be Eagles, your gracious lady. With good standing and moderate fortune." She looks the toy spaniel as it takes a liking to her leg and blushes a little then finds Tia's petite feet with her gaze again as it seems far safer. *Firan*
Kalina sparklies Tia. Not much more to do! Besides, it's a fun job.
Karanaki gives one more curtsey, then scurries out.
Lyssa enters the garden from outside.
Yvette taps at the center of her lips. "Stars do, indeed, sparkle. Lord Banian seems fond of remarking that I already sparkle more brightly than they do, if you might believe it," she quips with a little roll of her eyes. "I'll have to ply Razesh with some whiskey and apple cobbler before asking." Quiet plotting finishes up in her head before she chuckles a bit. "Hmm. Well, the hallway is awfully shadowy and perhaps a diamond encrusted axe lighting it would also make intruders think twice. I suppose that would then rob you of some fun, however." She leans in and nods, murmuring something quiet back to the rather imposing Didoron. *Firan*
By contrast, Princess Sparklefest is all confidence. Head up, smile bright. She inclines her head to Kalina, gesturing for her to stand a little back, "Catch that torch there," she whispers, pointing to a different flame. Directive given, Tia resumes discussing jewels with Zutriana. "Eagles do tend to be more lenient with, and loving of, their gems. It does, of course, rather depend on the family. I would suggest a moderate display of, perhaps, one diamond and two other, lesser gems. Turquoise is beneath them, something like sapphire or emerald."
Kariannia is THE Servant of Light as she smiles almost infectiously as she continues to direct the other servants to hold this mirror there, that torch higher here and all the while bathing Lady Tia Firgalik in a stunning halo of light.
Zutriana nods her head slowly as if understanding. "Thank you, my lady. I knew you would have the right answer to my question." She curtsies again and moves back slowly, extricating herself from Princess Sparklepoof. *Firan*
Advice dispensed, Tia turns to find whoever is next. NEXT?!
Kalina stands back, grabs the torch, and re-appropriates herself, giggling softly.
Zerasmus answers Yvette in a quiet tone, and the last of his words carries undertones of a cranky growl. Grr. His expression remains otherwise unchanged -- and then it's his turn! Oo, oo! He tips his head to Yvette in a silent, 'Excuse me,' and then steps toward Lady Tia. He composes his features when lips twitch toward something like a smile. "Lady Firgalik," he greets solemnly. "If a nobleman such as myself wished to have a weapon such as an axe made to truly /impress/, almost as you do now, what would you suggest? Do you know of any particularly skilled weaponsmiths?" *Firan*
Lyssa enters the statue garden, quietly, looking rather un-sparkly for the most part. She curtsies, briefly, should any nobles be watching and then proceeds to linger on the sidelines. Just watching!
Tia tilts her head to one side, stares at Zerasmus, and lifts a brow slightly. "Impress? As I do? I assume that means you want a very pretty axe? Full of ribbons and bows and sparkling sparkles?" Natch. Tia glances briefly at Yvette, a look of sheer and unadulterated amusement on her face. *Firan*
Zutriana slips out quietly, contemplating jewelry sales.
Yvette smiles with obvious agreement after Zerasmus' quiet words and then simply nods as he departs to make his way toward the famed former Princess and current wife of His Honor Ojitar. She grins her cousin asks the question and then nearly bursts forth with laughter at Tia's reply. She covers her mouth and feigns a cough as she gives the Lady Firgalik a wicked grin before regarding Zerasmus again. Oh, she might pay for nudging him up yet, but that doesn't dim her mirth.
"Maybe not ribbons," Zerasmus demurs with a slight lift of his hand and a waggle of his fingers. His brows draw together in a thoughtful expression made more intimidating by the scar across his left -- and then any intimidation factor is completely removed as he adds, "Or bows. No ribbons or bows. Especially not pink ones." Very firm, that. His expression is terribly, awfully sober and intent as he plays along. "Perhaps some sparkling sparkles. Iron has a glint of its own, after all, which is of a certain appeal. What would you suggest that is more to, ah, a /man's/ taste?"
Lyssa approaches Tia, perhaps with some level of anticipation. Upon reaching her employer, she gives a short nod, and a murmured, "My lady." *Firan*
"Ahhh," Tia says slowly, gesturing for Kariannia and Kalina to follow her as she begins to move steadily around the garden. Sparkling. "Lord Zerasmus would not wish to have pink ribbons or bows," she tells Yvette, grinning lopsidedly. "He reminds me rather of Ojitar. Concerned about manliness and all that. Silliness, really." Tia speaks half to Yvette in confidence, half to the room as if telling a story. "You know, I had a couch delivered to Ojitar's office once. He does only have the one seat and I got tired of fighting him for it. Anyway, this couch was delightful. Sparkly and pink and full of ribbons and bows. I think he cried when he saw it. The man has no taste, none at all." To the room, she gestures, pointing. "You should all message him to bemoan this!" Ha. "No, really." And finally, Tia meanders back to Zerasmus. "Iron. Some gems. You seek a weaponsmith? I believe the Firgaliks use Mer Bukatio." Tia then lowers her voice to whisper to Lyssa.
Timandra enters the garden from outside.
Not that her mirth dims, but Yvette's expression betrays a bit of admiration
for Zerasmus' reply. The hints of a smirk tug up a corner of her lips at Tia's words, but she schools it, instead trying for an expression of feigned surprise. "It would seem so, my Lady Firgalik. Lord Didoron is much the same way, of course." There's a long-suffered shake of her head before the underlying mirth is again betrayed. Looking back at Zerasmus, she grins a bit apologetically. "I believe I owe you at least an offer of paying for the
creation of such an axe. I even have some diamonds should Mer Bukatio not.
If you place a commission, be sure he bills me directly, Lord Cousin." Still
humored, she then considers something to ask herself. Aha. "Lady Firgalik,"
she begins in a more serious tone. "I hear that there is some research going
into the creation of platinum wedding necklaces. Perhaps this is better
suited for the Social Committee, but what is your opinion on noble and royal
couples keeping their original ones kept safely locked away and wearing
platinum ones to show their bond instead?"
"Imagine." Dry as dust, Zerasmus's not-so-astonished reply to Tia's tale of the couch. "If Mer Bukatio's work suits the Firgaliks, that is a fine enough recommendation for me, Lady Firgalik. Thank you." He tips his head to Tia and then makes the short stroll over to Yvette with eyebrows lifted as if to say, 'There!' for actually having done it, and allows his features to briefly relax toward a faint smile. "A generous offer. I'll keep it in mind. Thank you." He listens to her question, but his expression twists, and his gaze wanders over elsewhere, for all that he listens still.
Ojitar peeks his head into his statue garden, and then moves back out again.
Kalina follows Tia likes Kariannia does. Not only does she sparkle, but she also wanders! How interesting, especially when Kalina sometimes trips over things and must catch up and reorganize.
Tia whispers something back to Lyssa and then turns her attention to Yvette. The woman lifts a brow, "Really? Platinum wedding necklaces? How divine. I think that it may be best kept to old blood nobility, but I see nothing wrong with upping the level of monetary value of our necklaces. After all, that should be the most upstanding part of our jewelry collection, shouldn't it? It represents our," as Ojitar peeks in, Tia looks directly at him, "love," and then he is gone. "Don't trip, girl," Tia tells Kalina without missing a beat. "Do you agree, Lady Didoron?" *Firan*
What a perfect time for Timandra's arrival. She couldn't have planned it better if she had tried. Bounding around her is an eager puppy with a pretty green bow tied around it's neck. She, being who she is, comes not to attempt to outshine Tia - for such a thing would be impossible - but instead to be dressed as fashionably as she can to show respect for the lady she has long known. Spying Zerasmus she smiles and curtsies for him then looks around to see whom else is present. Seeing Yvette she moves towards her and curtsies for her as well as Tia. "Are you speaking of my pet project, Lady Proxy Didoron?" she asks of Yvette. "I came here to tell Lady Firgalik of it myself as I thought she might be interested."
Kariannia follows Tia with each step she makes even admonishing a servant for not holding the torch in the right way. But she does a tremendous job by holding her own mirror, catching the light just right to bring a sparkle of light to Lady Tia's jewelry. BLING!
Tia's attention is captured by Timandra. She smiles prettily at the familiar Rissik and gestures for her to come in and explain this platinum necklace. Tia looks intriiiiigued.
Yvette taps the center of her lips as she considers Tia's words. "Indeed, Lady Firgalik, I do agree," she says and smiles while bobbing her head a few times. And, truly, Timandra's appearance is nearly ironic - as the half Bear in Yvette might smirk about or something. "I was, Mes Timandra, truly. I am still so excited about it. Of course you have far more insight and information on the topic of it than I," is said cheerfully to her friend with a dip of her head. "I would not mind listening as well, of course." She takes a step back so that Timandra might take the floor and then grins up at Zerasmus. "The least I could offer, Lord Cousin. Should you send word to him and he takes the commission, do let me know. Perhaps I can have a sword of similar design made for Lord Didoron." *Firan*
Zerasmus tips his head to Yvette, attention recaptured by a key word: sword; weapon; hitting stuff. His head back in the game, he reflects briefly over words he missed and just nods again. "Good idea. I think that I will actually go see how he would feel about it right now, if you will excuse me. Lady Firgalik, striking as always," he adds belatedly, sort of glancing /past/ Tia without daring to focus on the shining. *Firan*
Tia issues a pleasant wave to Zerasmus and focuses on these wedding necklaces.
Timandra smiles broadly, "I am seeking to perfect my skills, you see. For many years I have been the best artisan able to work with precious gems and metals here in the capital city, but I am taking myself further. I am seeking to be the best in Averal." No small feat there. She glances at Willow to make certain the gangly pup isn't chasing anyone then looks back at Tia, "I am opening up a design school and have by invitation only recruited what I think to be the best up and coming jewelers in the city to learn at my," Timandra smiles a little here, "feet so to speak. It is my hope that I will be able to create platinum able to forge together into wedding necklaces. I believe such things should be worn only by truly old blooded nobles and royals, given the difficulty involved and thankfully the expense will undoubtedly make it so." *Firan*
Tia nods a few times and seems to approve entirely of Timandra's proposal. "Ah, Mes Rissik, this sounds divinely intriguing. And tell me, who will be the first nobles to be gifted with such finery?" *Firan*
"Of course, Lord Cousin," Yvette replies cheerfully. "Do let me know about the need of gems so that I might send them along," is added to Zerasmus. Then, of course, her attention focuses back on Timandra and Tia.
Zerasmus sliiides out while the girls are distracted.
"That is something left to determine, my lady. First I must get a workable design. If you have any suggestions as to that matter, I would be more than happy to hear them." Timandra smiles at Tia, "I know you are a true connoisseur of well crafted artistic pieces." She glances at Yvette and smiles, "Or perhaps you have a suggestion, my lady proxy?"
Tia smiles lopsidedly and nods. "I was considering having mine redone anyway -- this isn't nearly sparkly enough for me." Tia gestures to her necklace and then inclines her head to Timandra. "We'll be in touch, would you mind? I think it would only be fitting to have the Firgaliks and the Elianiks debut such finery -- and who better than both?" *Firan*
Tia leans forward to whisper to Timandra.
Yvette defers to Tia's suggestion, it seems, with a few bobs of her head. "I would agree with the Lady Firgalik, dear friend," is remarked to Timandra. "Royalty should first be offered such finery, though I would be untruthful if I said I was uninterested in a pair myself. I suspect, however, that I'll have to discuss such a thing with Lord Didoron." She laughs gently after that. *Firan*
Timandra glances at Tia's wedding necklace as the Firgalik lady leans in to whisper. She smiles softly and whispers in return.
Tia smiles lopsidedly at Yvette. "Always in tune with her place. Anyway! Thank you both for bringing this to my attention -- I am quite excited!" Tia, sparkling, turns to the other people in the room. "Is there anyone else with an issue or question?" *Firan*
Timandra nods to Tia, "Then I will be happy to help you." She drifts away from Tia after a curtsy and calls to Willow with a snap of her fingers. "Lady Didoron, I do hope that your newest addition to the family is settling in well," says Timandra as she drifts closer to Yvette, leaving the shimmering aura that surrounds Tia and her mirror and lantern holders. *Firan*
Yvette dips her head respectfully to Tia. "Thank you, my Lady Firgalik. And do please excuse me as well. I am going to return to the estate and make sure Lord Zerasmus and my husband are not planning to create an armory full of sparkly weapons," she remarks with decided humor. Turning then to Timandra, her smile remains in place. "We are long overdue for tea, quite truly. I can tell you all about our newest addition, Lady Teriana. She seems to be faring well though. But! This is something we must remedy soon. When your time during your research allows, of course." *Firan*
Tia musters a snigger of a smile for Yvette's quip.
Kalina says quietly from her position, "M'lady, I have a similar question to one that was asked earlier- wedding necklaces for commoners. Both middle class, not really wealthy but quite a bit in the bank, both republic soldiers... What might be a good combination of gems for their necklaces? *Firan*
Tia glances at Kalina and smiles prettily at her Servant of Light, II. She tilts her head to one side, considers, and then says with glittering green eyes, "I think an emerald would be lovely -- Republic Green, you know?" *Firan*
Yvette leaves the garden on a tiled path.
Kalina nods. "They were also thinking of obsidion, as well, to math the republic colors." She explains. *Firan*
"That would also be fitting, Mes. Yes," says Tia
Timandra follows Yvette out, after echoing the need for tea parties and catching up.
Timandra leaves the garden on a tiled path.
Willow, the large hound has left.
Kalina nods solemly, and as she has no other questions- she leaves it at that!
As people leave, the Sparkliest Sparklehead on the block turns to her Servants of Light and smiles brightly at them. "Job well done," she mutters, slipping them some money. "Mes Kariannia, please see to it that you message me in three days' time." With that, Tia instructs Lyssa, "Show them out!" And then departs.
You make your way out of the garden, leaving behind its brilliance and colour.
Tia leaves the garden on a tiled path.
