Big News!
Melani's Funeral!
The soul of Lady Proxy Centurion Melani Elikista nee Oshta was set free from its mortal remains in a ceremony presided over by her sister, Lady Proxy General Mother Taleena Corinala, in the Great Temple last night. Attendees included Taria, Tanya, Taleena, Zhara, Alastor, Alexa, Gemma, Jesika, Kagi, Lykaios, Okatik, Harvinia, Primo, Sabria, Sarina, Zetes, and Zenia. There were also some clan leaders and other Firan people there, as well as at least one ghost.
Lady Melani was sent to the totems with a virtual armory of weapons, a vast anthology of poetry and at least one pouch full of hair. There has been no word on the status of her proposed elevation to the Order of the Panther as we went to press.
An inter-clan unpleasantness was narrowly averted when Lady Melani's last testament directed that two of her children, Elsabet and Dolan, be delivered unto the Ticanee clan for raising. Their father, of course, is Clan Leader Torianos Elikista of the Chimera Clan.
Clan in Mourning!
As part of her eulogy to her daughter, Taria Oshta has declared that she and the clan will wear mourning clothes for a period of one year, that is, until 10 December 43 AU. It's hard to hunt anything in Navy Blue, but if you are a pro you can suck it up and get it done, okay? Okay.
Orphanage Overload!
Feathyr reminds people that the Totem's orphanage has young and older children who need a loving home. The doors are open for anyone who wants to come and visit the kids though she ask that no kids leave with anyone without permission of either herself or Alexa. Remember, Ticanee children need Ticanee families!
Fallon Goes Nuts!
One of the little-er Tics has been hard at work... well. Becoming a better Tic. Fallon has been running all around the district in what she calls "Super Raccoon Warrior Training." Though lately, she's been asking around about vegetables and seasoning. Could the self-proclaimed Best Warrior Ever (tm) be settling her cooking skills in order to some day please a mate? And what exactly is she hiding in that amphora?
Also, in an unrelated yet somehow connected story, Fallon has been tagging with the Bobcat a bit more lately spewing a million questions about the Totems and how to learn from them. Perhaps she has added another entry to her Uber Goals (c) list.
Leafchaser Follies!
Zetes is going to be offering a class in bunny whispering at the Lokaranis Academy this Saturday at 3. Rumor has it he is trying to dispell the stories that he has never been seen inside a schoolroom.
Ticanee Cadets Sought!
Since Kagi's tenth birthday is right around the corner, he's hunting down whomever is in charge of the Ticanee Cadets, as he's interested in joining. Send message please!

The pray command has been modified to include a pray/all option that uses up all your daily prayers in one swell foop. You just pray/all <god> (=optional message). See 'help pray' for details.
