Big News!

Festival Continues!
The fun and games of Spring Festival are running on for the next (IC) month yet, folks. Take advantage! Prizes, fun, food...BOOZE! It's a chance to stick your spear into a Firan with no repercussions. The shuttle ferry leaves from the Forum.
Reminder: During the Festival the Festival Peace holds. No unsanctioned violence against other persons. This is enforced by the gods, whether you believe in them or not!

Cool Sermon!
Shaman Tagda did a cool sermon in the Ticanee Temple, something about a wolf cub that has to go out and learn about a bunch of ducks, but no matter how much he learns about the ducks he has to always remember that he's a wolf. It was over Zetes' head but Zeril and Tahkota said it was pretty good and you can imagine how often they say good things about their cousin. There were a bunch of people there...Alexa, Lykaios, Neoma, Jili, Kagi, Okatik and a couple Firan guys, including one who looked like he wanted to give us a REALLY big bird.

Doctor, My Eyes...I Must Be Seeing Things!
Guess who is being seen around the district in Republic greens? Jesika Coyote, that's who! After asking the Clan Council to finally allow her to become a soldier during their Open Hours, the Oshta herself enlisted Jesika. Guess a whore can change her spots! The jury is out as to how well the other soldiers will accept her... but a foot in the door is a foot in the door.

Military Awards!
That Zerasmus Didoron fellow who is related to that toe-rag, Simon, wants to remind people that there will be a HUGE military awards Ceremony on RL May 10th at 7:30 EST. There are also a couple rehearsals scheduled. This is a chance to honor the people who recaptured Eliish, and a lot of our own will be on display, so try to make it!

Veteran's Day!
Kagi reminds everyone that May 1 ICly is Veteran's Day. Personally, I think that Kagi wants to see the parade that is supposed to be held. Heck, if the Dringles trot out their elephant, I want to see the parade, too! See news veterans day.

Kiddie Capers!
Hmm...Zielik and Kagi were seen learning tanning, so I guess the tanning vats at Leafchaser house will be twice as smelly in the future. And when Kagi suggested that a playground be built at the Lokaranis Academy, Taria Oshta herself suggested that boys with time to play had too little work to do. That's right, Kagi...play is reserved for orphans. It's what they get instead of parents!
