Big News!
Olympics!
The Olympic games are running full bore and there have been a number of successes for the Ticanee. Rijeka and Nysem have won gold medals (in racing and hammer game) and Gemma a silver in arm wrestling.
Others: Taleena, 4th, individual tug o war; Prima, 5th, javelin; Gemma, Sabria and Zhara, 5th, Team Battle Royale; Rijeka, Prima and Zetes, 6th, Team Tug o War and Sarina, 7th, boxing. Yay to all and a big RAWR!
More Olympics!
The games continue through next Wednesday. Our coordinator, Belasa, has posted the schedule and the top entrants elsewhere on @bb31, so take a look at it...it's titled 'Olympic Schedule.' If you're on it and can't be there, let us all know as loud and as often as you can! There are major penalties for not showing up, and there are a number of us who can step in if needed.
Archers Wanted!
Belasa has already posted that she needs at least two people to be available for the team Archery event. That's Saturday at 1 EST. If you have the archery skill and can be on then, send her an @mail. If you want the archery skill, see below!
Strange Doings!
First Lady Taleena pulled Alastor from his Olympic events and now he's dropped from sight. And it's a whole lot noisier in Leafchaser House as Tagda's children seem to be missing their mommy. And the Wolfpack seems to be more rambunctious than usual. And if you send a messenger to Kendra about Alastor being missing they say they can't find her...No word on why and no news forthcoming but it's all very odd...
Trading Center Reopening!
Ticanee wishing to offer goods for sale at the Ticanee Trading Center should contact Lady Prima Dawn. This is a good opportunity to get your goods out there in public, generating stenis for you and buzz for your brand name, so do it now!
Military Training!
Lady Prima is also offering weapons training to anyone who wants to be ready for war season. Contact her if you want to get better with your weapons before it's time to ship out! (That will be mid-February, so get it done NOW! It really is the Last Second!)
Stuff Needed!
Preparations to supply the army on its campaign have started. Weapons, iron (non-spoiling) rations, arms, armor, wagons, hay, oxen and many other things are going to be needed and pronto! Food? Contact Balinda. Repair supplies (cloth and tools)? Prima. Arms and armor? Yacen. Hay, wagons and oxen? Tyrsun. Fortifications and big guns? Marsalos. Do it now!
New folks in the District!
Our favorite married Minks, Aervis and Brinalia, are both back with us. Stop by Mink House and say 'Hi!' Also back in the fold are Zhara Anirik...I'm not sure from where but just in time to get beat up bad in the Team Battle Royale...and Dame Gemma Leafchaser. Yup, that says Leafchaser. Nepotism? I don't know the meaning of the word. But say 'Hi' to Gemma, too. Or maybe 'Rawr!'

Garbage Limit Raised!
Adam has announced that with the Army Supplies plot running there will be a temporary raise in the number of objects in the DB before There Will Be Trouble. Note that this is TEMPORARY and it is to provide objects to supply the ARMY! Not to go nuts!
@Junk Game Still On!
Remember, if you @junk, shred, spill, burn or otherwise remove from the DB 20 objects you are eligible for 1 CP. Keep a list...I have to have a list, people...and @mail it to me.

Tics in Update!
Two more of our clanmates have gone back to update, Riell and Zaynee. No one's posted as handling their updates yet, so I'll keep you posted.

I don't plan to make a habit of suggesting people to praise or diss on the grounds that you guys have your own characters and play them yourselves. But Zhara came off the roster, jumped right into the Team Battle Royale when she was needed, and got permed for her trouble. That should be worth at least a praise or two. Prima, Gemma and Sabria have all jumped in when they were needed, too, so if you have some spare praises...you know you do...you know where to send them.
