Big News!
Riots in Cockatrice!
At this point that's what we know...but that Katja woman was in the middle of it. There was a bit of a punch up and a good time was had by all the survivors.
Air Raids!
Shamibelian raiders struck twice in April. The military and militias responded quickly and damage seems to be limited...so far. In the second raid at least two Shamis were taken alive and subsequently executed. Sabria and Zetes were among those in on the chase. Citizens are reminded to keep their weapons to hand and that they are not to approach Shamibelians alone. Get help!
Welcome Canot!
Taria Oshta has given us a new citizen, one Canot Aegrotik, for the purpose of getting him a fair trial and execution. You can visit him in the city jail. Someone needs to make this fellow a formal loincloth!
Olympics Coming Soon!
Trials are being held for the Ticanee team to the 42 AU Olympiad. The team's roster remains dynamic as our coordinator, Belasa, tries to match skills with events. Contact her for tryouts. Be ready to jump in if we get caught short at an event! It's better to stink than to not show up. Do it or Belasa will whack you with her cane.
Strange Quiet in City!
Many of the city's children, including Fallon and Zielik, went off on a strange experience called Kid's Nation. Tell the truth...you knew it was quieter. They should be back with some tales to tell for next week's newsletter.
Phrixus, Phone Home!
A messenger from Chimera brought the following item: "Some freckled kid has been wandering around asking everyone he sees about MASTER ARTIST Phrixus. It seems he hasn't heard from the old man since a bit before the first of the two recent raids. And when the boy went to visit the old man at his house outside the walls? The door was broken in." Tagda is looking for Phrix, too. Send messages to Tags and Loshad if you find him.

Barring disaster, I plan to gather up news through Wednesdays and get the newsletter out on Thursdays. Yes, I'll remind you on @bb 31. I reserve the right to edit submissions, but I will make every effort to keep your news and information intact. I won't be putting in diss or praise suggestions...don't like 'em. Also...can anyone think of a better name? Let me know.
