Big News!
Off to War!
The combined Armed Forces of the Republic marched off to the Ellish front. A number of our clanspeople are at the front, including Gemma, Tanya, Sabria, Sarina, Tagda, Primo, Alastor and Kendra, plus some others I apologise for missing (but I asked for newsletter info and you didn't send any!)
Rumor has it that a week after the soldiers shipped out, most of the priests in the city went on a field trip, meeting at the very same docks the soldiers went to. This time there were no large crowds or big speeches, just priests boarding and leaving. It's not quite clear if any shamans were among the group; some traditional Ticanee might not be all that pleased.
There's damned little news from the front, except some word about a rugged scouting mission that Tagda made it back from. No other names named, and rumors run from complete success to total disaster.
Letters In!
A number of people have gotten mail from our warriors, and a number of people have sunk so low as to try and enveigle Zetes into reading their letters to them. There are no military secrets in them, of course, just the usual chat of missing home and requests for favorite foods to be shipped and favors requested.
Letters Out!
People wanting to write back to their loved ones, friends, acquaintances or bitter enemies at the front: 1) prepare your materials by labelling your scroll or package with the person's name 2) fill it up and 3) dump it into the mail barrel outside the bank.
Kagi Forges!
Kagi made his first bronze blade, though after working on the piece for weeks and weeks in the forge, for some reason he's not running around showing everyone his work. Who knows where it went off to, but they did say he was near the piers. He seems to be well on his way to the renown of fine Ticanee weaponsmiths like Itoonus Badgertooth.

Jesika Coyote is still laid up in the Clinic. Be sure to go and drop in on her. She's married, boys, so if you bring her a dead animal, cook it first.

Social Point Noms Changed!
To keep the number of SP nominations under control, there's a new policy: If you make one, it costs a CP. Yes, it takes staff time to process these things. HOWEVER: if your request is approved you get your CP back, and if it is particularly good or useful, you can get another CP to boot.

Tics in Update!
No Ticanee hit the roster this week. Kassia is handling the update for Lykaios Swiftpaw, a new chargen. If you know Okatik and Harvinia's kids, you know Lykaios, so @mail Kassia if you want a relationship with him. Kassia has also picked up Nodin Ravenseye, the gladiator. Git yer red hot relationships with Nody to her.
