Big News!
Army Jilts Ticanee!
Newly-appointed head of the Urtenian Order of Ticanee healers Neoma Wolfhawke was publicly gossiped about by a mob of uncomprehending Firans when she chose not to re-enlist in the Army. Exactly what use the Army has for midwives was unexplained by these chowderheads, and nor was her recent service in Ellish taken into account. Just another example of Ticanee bashing. Maybe we should take our horses back!
Festival Ending!
The end of Festival will be rolling around in the next few days with a closing ceremony hosted by some Bear lady. But that will be it until Fall Festival, so party now while you have the chance.
Insane Kids!
Children all over the city have been walking arounds saying 'Arrr' all week. I am reliably assured that this means the same in Ticanee as it does in Firan, which is to say nothing. It has something do do with pirates, this newsletter has been told, but since this editor is from Caldera City, noted for its extinct volcano and distinct lack of ocean, you couldn't prove it by me.
Military Awards!
That Zerasmus Didoron fellow who is related to that toe-rag, Simon, wants everyone to know that he's NOT organizing the military awards ceremony and someone else is. Be that as it may, several of our own are due and over-due for recognition. Perhaps there will be word as to whether Lady Melani and Kendra Coyote will be elevated to the Order of the Panther.
Editorial!
It is not the policy of this newsletter to make regular editorial statements. However, with the awards ceremony coming it up is is important that we recognize three of our own. In a previous editorial we supported the adding of Lady Melani Oshta and Captain Kendra Coyote to the honored rolls of the Order of the Panther. Our opinion on this matter has not changed.
In addition, it is inappropriate that Firans have been badmouthing Neoma Wolfhawke for choosing to concentrate on the Urtenian Order once her term in the military had legally expired. If you are as offended as we, you will join this newsletter in singing the praises of Neoma!

Birthing Rolls Changed!
Birthing rolls were lowered with the new dice system, but a review has led to the decision to change them back to the original, higher, difficulties. See 'help birth2' for details.

Ulrik and Rijeka are self-updating before rostering. We'll miss you guys, and people, give them a hand. @mail relationships right to them.
