More than just a few of the Ticanee had been seen wearing their armor during these hot summer days after the Cockatrice clan dismissed the insult by Orikos Didoron to Taria as insignificant, forcing the Oshta to issue an ultimatum of satisfaction or war. Even though the insolent war has turned up less than alive and the Ticanee would consider the matter closed, many are keeping a wary eye out for any fall out from the quirky Cockatrices and the slowly easing tensions between the other clans after the return of the missing Chimeran clan proxy Lord Sabinus Rissik.
After the loss of the much beloved Lady Lotis Dawn, the Dawn family has hired young Jitani Leafchaser to help care for the Dawn household children. Lord Radik is rarely seen without his beloved son Lotuk around the district.
The Badgertooth family are going much to redeem the much-tarnished family name. Many praises are given to Nimiker, who selflessly toils to exhume the riches of the ground for the benefit of the clan without asking for a steni of compensation. And Ghali, on leave from the military while carrying the first blessings of Eesha of her marriage, has been promoted to Captain in the Republic First Division Wardens. Yay, Ghali and Nimiker!
We may be the smallest of the clans, but we're the most potent, and taking over the Republic military! Along with Ghali Badgertooth's promotion, Priestess Lady Proxy Xenobia Dawn has risen to the rank of general of the Second Division infantry. Alexa Wolfhawke, only recently made commander of the Fourth Division supply and armory, was given the dubious honor of being appointed acting general of the entire Fourth Division. Rumor has it that she can't give the reins back to Zafir fast enough.
Who said summer without a war season would be boring?
