By the Campfire...

Summer ends and sees the soldiers returning from the intensive training exercise in the field. As families reunite and the soldiers return to their daily lives, attention starts turning to the approaching Fall Festival.

A ceremonial washing bowl, crafted by Hadiya Mink, now resides in the Temple of Soli. The jeweler and glassworker was rather quiet during the work on the commission but occasionaly will speak of it if asked when she is in the right mood.

Seems that all of the Leafchaser women seem to be getting... rounder, as their 'fruits' ripen. Even Jitani, who rumors about speak of her being assaulted during the seige. Itoonus, the youngest of the Coyotes, works on his marriage quest to marry his love Jitani.

It was an odd sight in front of the Oshta mansion. Young Lord Judanus, accompanied by Priestess Urtenia, presented Sir Minister Caracallo with a gift for the old Bear's birthday. Seems the grumpy Bear has a soft spot for loincloths with teddy bears upon them.

By far the most talked about news, and that which the Ticanee crow about over the campfires, is the results of the near fiasco of a training season. Over and over, the Firans were getting their backsides handed to them... save when Lord Commander Primo Dawn helped lead one of two victories in the field. And the other, none other than Commander Alexa led to actually capturing the 'enemy' fortress! When asked, the woman demures and replies, "I didn't do anything special. I just rounded up a bunch of the slackers, kicked them out of the fort, and told them to go thataway." Well, whatever she did, she's going to be rewarded for it. With more work, of course.

OOC News: My apologies for the long overdue newsletter. It's been a busy time irl. Also, I will be stepping down as Fachead as soon as there is an election for a new one. There are several Ticanee on the roster! Recruit!
