There has been an Embargo placed on the Hydran clan by the Clan council. There is to be no trading from any clan to the Hydrans and no clan member is to trade with them either. If you deal with a Hydran, he prepared to face Oshta's wrath. She will punish you for any misstep in this, without her permission.
The Firan Great Race has started. There are a couple of Ticanee running, notably Benita and Nalandra. Hopefully they can continue the clans winning ways and make a grand showing. On the plus side, it keeps them from causing any more trouble in the district.
There is a new delegate election coming up. Rumor has it Ikshu intends to toss his hat into the ring. Send him your votes, if you think he will to the job properly and not cause the problems another Ticanee had when they ran. Or simply find the people you wish to see and think will do the job right and vote for them.
There seems to be a strange illness going about the clan, and it is only affecting women. There has to be something in the water or food. Many women are getting sick of late for no reason. Others are getting fatter around the middle. All men are advised to be around the women with caution, though for now no man has come down with these same symptoms.
Of course all the problems might be traced to the annual cooking party held at the Leafchaser house. But it is doubtful, as no men have become sick. Everyone should praise the efforts of all the cooks that helped give us food for the winter. Seen there and cooking were Benita, Alexa, Jolotamu, Urtenia, Hadiya, Moona, Terpsika, Elsai. Also a great cheer goes out to those that donated time and energy to help the cooks. It was a great success and by now you all should have received your food. Ghali has been sending them out. Please remember to return the baskets so they can be reused. Make sure you thank Ghali for all her hard work, because not only did she cook, but she organized the whole thing and made sure everyone got food.
The almost forgotten award ceremony has been announced. Many people wonder what awards are being handed out and who is going to be receiving them. Of course there better be a party afterwards, because what are awards without a party? In case you are wondering the awards are: Order of the Panther, Order of the Wolverine, Order of the Wolf, Order of the Elk, Order of the Boar, Order of the Falcon, and Order of the Horse.
The workers have finally left the Leafchaser/Badgertooth/Ravenseye house. It seems all the repairs have finally been completed as well as the workshop in the barn. Though with more kids on the way rumor has it there will be a couple more rooms added on to the second floor.

Praises for the week: Primo is one that stands out. He chopped a whole lot of wood single handed for the cooking party. He has been very instrumental in making sure the clan needs have been met for the season as well. So lets show him we care.
