"There is a new Sheriff in town!" The crowd gasps, "A Ticanee Sheriff?" "Hey it worked in blazing saddles."(Ok sorry for the Men in Tights rip off) Anyway seems the militia is only getting better. Lupos was seen recently talking with Nimiker and coming away with a set of clan armor and a commission or two. Now all the troublemakers should be on their toes.
The Militia would like to remind everyone that hunts to clean up his or her kills. There has been a rash of animal corpses or parts of animals left on the ground. If they are intended for the clan, you are to inform someone to pick them up. (See @clan/authorized for a list of who can absorb). Then also send a message to the militia with the location and amounts you left. This will keep you from trouble. Anyone caught leaving kills around the district will now be subject to a fine, stocking, jail time or all of the above. Noted around several recent kills are the tracks of kids. If you have not yet passed your rite hood quest or had your CoS you will still be punished.
Seems one Mer Salih has been causing quite a stir. Not only has he been insulting one of our Proxies and his wife, he was also caught doing something in the glassworks better suited for a tent. Though Lady Xenobia has contacted Father Brizo and seems satisfied with the actions being taken. Still the clan is encouraged to make their displeasure known.
Lady Xenobia is also spreading word that any and all that have knowledge of the late General Agarn should contact her. She is gathering up all the information she can so his life and career can be documented. So everyone dig deep in your memories and then seek out the Lady to share what you know. (Look in your relationships and see if you have one to him or if you know anything let Xenobia know)
Looks like there is another horse breeder in the clan, or at least in training, young Srennik has been seen talking to Terpsika about an apprenticeship. Under her guidance lets hope he can turn out horses as good as hers. The Ticanee need to reassert their dominance in the equine world once more.
General Ghali has been seen rolling around the district. The waif of a general is due any day now. Everyone should help her whenever they can as the roads are iced over and her balance is way off center. Just ignore her temper when she ties to rip your arm off and beat you with it. If you don't want to risk injury, then you are advised to stay at least 3 steps ahead of her, seeing how she cant run all that fast right now.
OOC: Ok well its been another heck of a week. I hope everyone is doing well. There is sad news, Perdita did roster, do to alt conflicts and time constraints, so if you know there are updates needed, please send them to the pher that asks for them. Also don't forget if you need anything or have any ideas for the newsletter you are more then welcome to let me know.
Praises for the week: I really don't have any suggestions. There are several people worthy of them so use your best judgment.
Disses for the week: Well the big glaring one is Salih. Lets show him how we feel about being called savages. Please remember to keep disses and praises ic and that alt conflict rules do apply.
