Hiya, Tics! This is my very first newsletter as your faction head so I assure you that the layout will get better as time goes on. While the last week wasn't jam-packed with events, what did happen is definitely worth mentioning! If you would like to see anything put in the next newsletter, please drop me an @mail or page. Current IC Events
The biggest talk in the city lately seems to be revolving around the much-publicized encounter and punishment between Clan Leader Taria and a whore named Yandora. It seems that Yandora got rather uppity with the Oshta about her opinions and even went so far as to lend the same insult to her own clan leader, Princess Zeysani! The Oshta mercifully chose to put aside the punishment of death and instead occupy the Forum stocks with the whore, declaring that her services were to be free of charge to any man that wanted them. Many speeches of outrage were made and eventually withdrawn as wisdom was seen in the Clan Leaders' decisions. Rumor has it that a certain Griffon pilot came up to eesha with Yandora and earned her freedom, though not before the Oshta could cut away all of her hair and send her away with the man for a night.
Rumor has it that Lotis Cottonmouth and Radik Coyote have been seen spending quite a lot of time together lately. They've been going on hunting trips and generally spending a fair amount of time in each others' company. Could it be young romance blossoming? While Radik has also been seen spending much time speaking with the Oshta, poor Lotis was mistaken for an Old City resident and nearly arrested by a guard!
It seems that Witani Leafchaser has been having a rough time in life lately. She is rumored to have been seen in an argument or two with her ex-husband, Harik, and a certain Alexa Talonmark. Perhaps the two have found love that Witani does not agree with, you might think? It certainly appears that way, for the latest word is that a wedding date has been set and will soon be announced!
Much of the clan is cheering on those that were chosen to compete in the Olympics this year. Particular interest seems to be on what appears to be a rivalry between two of the Ticanee competitors, Kendra Coyote and Rijeka Whitefeather.
Current OOC Events
Remember that the Ticanee Resettlement project has yet to get underway. If you'd like to participate in it yourself, inclusion is only a moment away! Show your interest to Quonasi and he should be able to send you in the right direction.
The Olympic competitions will begin today! You can have a look at the Ticanee clan board to see the events that have been scheduled and who will be participating. I hope everyone can make it out to cheer on their clanmates!
