Dear Journal,
So i'm finally an initiate! A real live initiate of Srenna. The ceremony was wonderful, Aunt Xenobia led it and lots of folks showed up, I got my new tattoo and well I barely flinched a bit! Okay well maybe a bit. Zelva isn't nearly as careful at tattooing as Radik is. But it was worth it! Lady Zelva and I have already held our first Srennian hunt and everything.
Oh and we had a double wedding a while back, Harvinia and Okatik and Derik and Lutika got all hitched up, and they came up with a new name for thier family too. They're now the Swiftpaw family. Its a cool name, and i'm sure that it will become a well respected one too. They've already started working on increasing thier family as well. Lutika had her baby a little boy that they named Saduk, in addition to the adopted children they've already got a nice little start. And Harvinia and Okatik finally adopted Matti, the little boy that Harvinia has been taking care of for the last few years. Seems she's may just have another one on the way too, either that or she's been gaining weight from all that cooking she's been doing. Okatik and Harvinia are living in the palace in the palace district now, cause Harvinia's working for the Viceroy and all. Its almost funny thinking of Okatik in the palace, I betcha he's set some of those royals on thier ears. Oh and Okatik has joined up in the military, he's a centurion even, and in the special forces. Some folks are all pissy about him joining up as a centurion, but they should get over it I say, I mean heck, he's certainly better suited for it then many.
Phrixus is starting up an Art Academy, however, he's demanding that applications be sent. Word is he's already got a few as apprentices and students, and is teaching the finer aspects of art and it's philosophy. On another note, many are wondering where Phrixus is, because all the guards are seemingly trying to find him. Word has it that Phrixus is refusing to go to the Palace District and is even turning back all messengers from military type back with a stern retribution. Otherwise, firelight has been seen at all hours of the night from Hut Number 8, and chipping and chisling from within. Wonder what he's working on.
Looks like another Ticanee will be doning the Republic Green, Terpsika has gone and joined the military, even with how she feels about the Firans. Gotta respect someone who's willing to stand up and fight for a purpose, even alongside people she doesn't care for. Also, rumor has it that she's been seen cozying up with Ixion an aweful lot. It's even been noticed by her son, Abayos, who was heard confronting her about it in the Wolf's Den one day. Makes one wonder if they are just good friends, or perhaps more. Also, where's Ikshu these days?
Tagda, being nice? Yes, that is right. Lately Tagda been sporting a new attitude..well the best she can. Curtsies have been seen, pleases and thank yous, proper titles are being said...and most of all, no boys have been maimed as of late. That, and Tagda has been working hard...really hard. Cooking for the Ravenseye family, the Mink family and the Tanelish family, the woman has been doing nothing but working. Still every now and then she is found in the Den with Abayos or the training center with Abayos. Ooh! That's another thing! Tagda has been showing up to Gladiator Matches, Battle Royales, you name it...if it has to deal with fighting...and she won't get in trouble for hurting boys, SHE'S BEEN THERE! She came in fourth at the last Gladiator match, and won quite a lot of money. That's the Tagda update.
Lady Nevra has been accepted into the Ticanee clan, and as a noble still. She's been seen around the district, without her wedding necklace, (Wonder if that divorce of hers finally went through?) and has even hosted a Firan/Ticanee culture exchange.
Along with Harvinia and Lutika, it seems that the Dawn women are both expecting again. Kerasha and Xenobia are both showing signs of being pregnant and have been seen talking and giggling that they will be due about the same time!
Originals by Perdita has had some very strange noises coming from it after Lupos was seen staggering home drunk one night wrestling with a wriggling sack. Any investigations will discover a couple of ferrets harressing him, knocking over tools, stealing food and annoying Penelope the boar. That'll teach him to go out drinking and catching up with old friends.
It seems that Lord General Draugik has gathered some serious enemies in the Ticanee district lately. Big surprise with him being a evil haffie anyhow. Hrmph. The so-called noble beat Lutika unconscious for throwing whiskey in his face, and then went and noble privlidged Tagda who was present right next to Lutika's unconscious body. Something really needs to be done about that damn haffie! (Big ole Diss candidate) Word is that Okatik has been putting tables into walls since then. Damn haffies!
So anyway, I guess thats about it for right now Journal. Haven't been writing as much lately, real sorry about that. I'll do better in the future after all someone has to write down all the intresting stuff that goes in the Ticanee clan right?
