Ticanee Newsletter 69 - 7/22/04

Dear Journal,
Its been mostly a slow week for the Ticanee clan, though there has been some stuff going on for the republic as a whole. In the Ticanee clan its been pertty quiet. Well..okay some areas haven't been so quiet. I was going to see Lupos a few days ago and was just about to knock on the door when I heard this HUGE crash followed by the loudest yelling voice i'd ever heard in my life. Even louder than mom's when she's really mad. Seems Perdita is back and she's fit to be tied over some of the stuff Lupos has been up to. Stuff like getting one of the Ticanee clan proxies out and out shnockered and then doing the same with that proxy's mother the next day. I couldn't make out most of what was being yelled, but one thing made it through the doorway loud and clear, seems Perdita isn't too happy with Lupos having all those women seeing after him. Its good that she's back though, Lupos needs a good woman around to keep him in line. Especially with him getting up in years and all. Anyway when I heard all that I walked away...quickly. Never know when one of those flying missles might make thier way through a window.
One of my close friends got married this week. Lilana married Lord Dedalion of the Bear clan. From what i've heard it was a beautiful wedding with lots of important folks there. Of course the Oshta made sure to remind Lord Dedalion that he and Lilana cant eesha for a whole 6 months, or he'd lose his head. The Oshta hasn't decided which one yet.
Speaking of the Oshta, seems her and Clan Leader Zeysani have been trying to commission a very special sculpture. They wanted something with the words "Crazy Bitch" on it. Why I have no idea, but i'm sure it must be interesting.
This week we've seen the return of the Chimera, and boy has he ever wreaked havoc! Word is he almost gobbled up Lord Gavin, and he charred Lord Leonus to bits and pieces. Lord Xegolus almost died too. He didn't though, at the last minute the Chimera saved him and then broke into a million billion pieces! Okay... well three anyway. Okatik was one of the people who tried to help out, trying to save the fallen soldiers by stampeeding horses through the forum in the hopes it would get the Chimera's attention off of the unconscious Firans. The plan failed sadly enough, but it was a brave effort none the less.
Oh and Dame Mother Urtenia is running for delegate again. I'm sure she'll do well, she always does, how can she not with all the Ticanee behind her?
Anyway Dear Journal, I supose thats about it right now. Sorry its such a short one this week, there just isn't much going on I supose.
