Around the Campfire

Trade wise, while other clans might have been bilked out of goods and money by the Hydrans, the Ticanee policy of not trading with the Hydrans unless absolutely necessary or only trading for cash, may well have kept them safe from dirty dealings. As it stands, all needs are met and so they do not have to specifically embargo the Hydrans this season.

Rumor is that Taria is looking for a new minister of marriage (with Lady Kerasha petrified as she is now). Xenobia lets people know that she is almost always available for consultation if there are matters that need to be handled among the Ticanee, when the Oshta is away or busy.

More rumors and gossip! Ekenon is thinking of marriage? No one is for sure, but just maybe. Is Zekki on his list?

Initiate to Priestess! Xenobia has announced that Zhara is now a full priestess, having completed the task of leadership. she's been a Scion in the Srennian Children's organization and at the time of her CoS became an initiate. She's also been instrumental in the capture and recovery of the stolen horses. She's had excellent reports from her Co's of her conduct and Leadership. No one could be more deserving of such a promotion. The Ticanee clan is proud!

The return of Tagda! Tagda is back, it seems, and wandering around the district, though isn't often seen so much. Word has it that she was been very quiet and cautious, keeping mostly to herself and avoiding the public eye. But, that doesn't mean she isn't up to her same old Tagda business. She's been sparring and hunting, and was seen in the forum during a confrontation when someone stole her money! Still, the boy hating Ticanee girl is back in action, so it's advisable that all boys beware.

Also seen around the district again is Perdita. She's returned from taking care of her sick friend. Her and Lupos have been seen together a lot again. People talk of their on/off relationship and wonder if them being together means it's back 'on'. Also it's heard that she's on the warpath and Ixion's the target!

Primo's party at the Wolf's Den was a success! Everyone give thanks to Kendra who did most of the planning and organizing.

Around the walls ( Firan news and gossip )

Classes are still going on daily. Dame Urtenia is holding a series of 5 herboloy classes, Mes Jahala is holding a series of 5 different law classes. Various other classes such as farm management and dance classes have also been held. Check out some classes at the academy today!

Ever wonder what it different careers might be available for you in the Republic military? Captain's Unsel and Zaqik seem to be giving everyone that chance. There will be a military Expo within the month with several different events planned. There will be events for medics to get a feel of battlefield and other types of injuries, a battle royale and even a chance to enjoy the armies fine cooking! Who can pass up a chance like that? ( ooc dates: Jan 11th through the 13 with several events a day happening.)

Stricken Eeshan priest! Priestess Naraki has announced to the public that Mer Menophis has been stricken from the list of the Eeshan clergy. He is stripped of all rank and is no longer a member of the temple. It seems his past is catching up with him. Perhaps now he will realize his proper place within the firan society.

Hydran trouble, again! The Hydran clan seems to be in danger of not meeting it's seasonal needs. Father Javier is accused of corruption...with Lord Amenik defending his high priest. The result? Most of the clans banning the Hydra clan from trading with them and the Hyrdra clan refusing to trade with anyone. Will they make their needs or will they go hungry?

Praises and Disses

Praises: Alexa for her continued hard work in the republic military despite what those Firan's say. Zhara for becoming a priestess. Disses: Menophis for his disgrace to the Eeshan temple. Javier for being accused of corruption.

OOC Stuff

• Olympics! They will be here soon, which means tryouts for the clan will happen soon as well. Don't forget that a single character can not be in more than 5 events, 3 single and 2 team events. Check out News Firan olympics to brush on on it all. A list of the events can be found on the IC event board, currently 19/155.

• New to the clan:Luralee and Perdita. Everyone welcome them to the clan and be sure to give them any help they need!

• New food! Mulberrybuilder announces the newest food to be made from squashes. Squash medallions!

• New command! Adam has cloned the spank command to make a whip command. Criminals beware, you may now be whipped until your conscious flees you without the worry of being whipped on the little finger!
