Overview

Torianos Elikista, Clan Leader of the Chimera Clan, was born into the Elianik family and was raised as a prince of the Republic before being named the clan leader in 39 A.U. His mother, Princess-turned-Lady Inaya, is the daughter of Elik and his father, Prince Vahlon was the brother of Clan Leader Taria Oshta. Prince Vahlon was captured and killed by the Shamibelians in his second season at war, while his mother remains as a proxy to the clan.

As a boy, Torianos chose to become a priest of Uf and dedicated much of his time to the service of his goddess. Outside the temple, the ex-prince spent a lot of time staying in touch with his Ticanee heritage despite the fact that being half-savage puts him at odds with some of his clan. Chief amongst the responsibilities of his heritage is the fact that upon Vahlon's death, Torianos is now the last living member of the Panther tribe.

Family Life

Siblings

Torianos had only one sibling for a while, Thaddia Elianik, and the two of them have remained quite close throughout their lives, despite her having had Lord Erythes for a father. Recently though, he has found himself with a step-brother and a new step-sister by virtue of his mother's recent marriage to Lord Inarus Iberik.

Wives

As a boy, it seemed that the young man was destined to marry Lady Gemella of the Bear clan. However, when she was somewhat suddenly married to Clan Leader Amenik, Torianos found himself betrothed to Melani Oshta.

The marriage of Melani and Torianos ensured that the Panther tribe was reborn and the only thing left was for them to have as many kids as possible, which his Aunt Taria supported fervently. The marriage lasted until Melani was killed on the front, in 42 A.U.'s push to take Ellish. Torianos' future as a groom is up in the air.

Children

So far, Torianos has four children, three of whom are girls. His eldest daughter is Lilah, his second is Phoebe and Elsabet is his third. They are loud, big and clumsy, respectively. Dolan, Torianos' only son, is the youngest and is generally focused on more than the others as he's the official heir of the Panther Tribe. Most would call Torianos a doting father, even moreso now that Melani is no longer around, though the exception to this is during brawling lessons. No sissy stuff when brawling.

Accomplishments

Commander of the Guard

Torianos spent quite a lot of time in the guard, serving the Republic as a captain and then a commander. Upon his departure from the guard, rumors sprang up that Taleo had to scramble a bit to find someone else to boss around.

Deputy Viceroy

After many aggressive negotiations, which were rumored to include four rounds of brawling in the training center, Torianos finally convinced Lord Viceroy Taleo to appoint him to the position of Deputy Viceroy. He performed his duties there admirably and was called away when he was made Clan Leader.

Last of the Panther Tribe

Torianos is the last of a Ticanee tribe, excluding his children, called the Panther Tribe. He inherited this title from Vahlon, his father, after he was killed at war. Vahlon, in turn, inherited it from his father Torvahl.

Clan Leader of the Chimera Clan

As the Chimeran Clan Leader, Torianos now finds himself responsible for an entire Clan and that...pretty much covers it.
