Lord Trikon Ista Barun was born in 5 A.U. in Caldera City to the City's vice-mayor, Lord Erato, and his wife Sophia. Trikon had only one sibling, Quintallus Ista Barun. Trikon joined the Ista Barun family shortly after the death of Lord Wirk Ista Barun in 21 A.U., becoming part of the family under Lord Adrastus. Adrastus was executed two years later, in the year 23 A.U., after an attempt to seize control of the Chimeran throne from Clan Leader Akinita. While Trikon was not part of the plot, he did have plans of his own.

In the spring of 23 A.U., Trikon managed to purchase a Spring Festival marriage prize from one of the pentathlon winners. He chose an unwilling Lady Bashona Istabannos as his wife. When Lady Bashona disappeared during the Shamibelian Air Raids of 24 A.U., suspicion and blame was cast upon him by her brother, Lord Banik Istabannos. Despite his innocence in the matter, Trikon maintained a heated rivalry with the Istabannos family ever since, but remained an Istabannos until after the Cockatrice Civil War, in which he was transferred once more to the Ista Barun family.

In 27 A.U., Lord Viceroy Taleo Teranzik made Trikon Lord of the Games, making him responsible for the entertainment of all of Anarinuell. In 30 A.U. he was married to Lady Xamori Teranzik and joined the Teranzik family. He is survived by his wife and his daughter, Lady Nilara Teranzik. He was killed in the summer war campaign of 31 A.U. where he was cut down during a confusing retreat and killed by a Shamibelian.
