Dan came to Firan with very little experience at all, but that hasn't slowed him down any! He had previously been on a MUD and two failed TinyMUSHes. An introduction to the fantasy MUD got him hooked on the concept, and he remained on that MUD for many years, finally leaving after they started charging a monthly fee for it. From a friend's first experimental MUSH, Dan learned how to build and from that same friend's second MUSH, he learned something of coding. Since coming to Firan, his only successful and free MU*, in April of 1998, he has improved his building and softcoding skills and developed rather good 'bug analysis' skills. Dan is often the one staffers turn to when trying to figure out or debug code, as he has a knack for explaining the hows and whys in terms that are easy to understand! Dan is also the one responsible for our clothing system of wearlocs and such.
