Happenings

The Junik mansion was cleared away -- but it seems a woman (mes? Lady?) was trapped in the rubble! Two men, Mikki and Kelarik, were able to free her.

Prince General Zaridos Elianik won the Gold Dragon Coronation Battle Royale, hosted by Ojitar and Tia. He generously donated the prize of 500,000 stenis to the Gold Dragon Fund.

Meanwhile, it seems there are an awful lot of Eagle troops moving to Anarinuell. The roads between Lurashar and Luragadin are clogged with men marching and innkeepers are growing irked with the number of military men they have to house.

Tagda Leafchaser announced the opening of a new school in the Ticanee district called the "Wolf Totem School" to educate the children of the clan.

With Clan Leader Fidelia now holding the staff, several little shakeups occurred. She appointed Sir Parosh Dilarik as the Acting High Priest of the Temple of Unot and permitted Clan Leader Inaya to become the Acting High Priestess of the Temple of Elik.

Clan Leader Ania offered the first words of congrats to Torianos and Inaya.

Clan Leader Diamia announced her first heir! Lady Anais IstaNydiam brings the two lines of the Cockatrice together into one child.

Now Clan Leader Ojitar Firgalik's coronation occurred! Without hitches, mostly. Without a riot, without upheaval. Save for Javier's painfully long speeches and his decree that Ojitar sign an agreement that he would uphold Monotheism, there seemed very little scandal at all. Lord Jalil has successfully retired and the mantle is headed by his eldest son. Taria told her people to go pray to Uf for Ojitar before the week's end.

Troops are on the move! The Eagles poured in first -- but now the Gold Dragons have packed up in Scirlut and moved to the north, to the east, and to the west. No one can quite tell where they're going. The Griffons also packed up (not entirely) and moved to the southeast. Slowly.

Tagda renamed the school after Lady Lotis Dawn -- the Lotis Dawn Academy for Ticanee children.

Rumors circulate about the so-called "Black Fist", said to be the current super-criminal. Who could it be? Guards are eager to bring this villain to justice... if only they knew who it was!

Judgements

Mes Witani was charged with a number of crimes involving trespassing.

Her Honor Fidelia and the rest of the Clan Council found Modestia Honoria, a whore, guilty of the crime of slaving. The mes requested a bath and, as such, the council decided she should be drowned. But not until her co-slavers have been brought to justice; her legs and arms were broken to ensure her immobility and once the others are caught and investigated, Modestia will be killed.

In line with that judgement, Prince Zaridos decreed that Modestia no longer bore the Honoria name and was cast out of the family.

The Clan Council meeting decided on the matter of Prince Zaridos' proposal that the Ranivor take over the duties of scheduling and chairing Clan Council meetings from the High Priestess of the Realms. This was unanimously defeated. They also discussed Prince Rislan's proposal regarding a way for the Republic guard and the clan to work together to quickly and efficiently resolve matters of jurisdiction. The matter will be voted on at the next meeting.

Lady Proxy Yvette gave permission to Mer and Mes Jaffus to adopt a girl from Kamnestra's Orphanage. The orphan will henceforce be known as Mes Cara Jaffus. She also gave permission to the Senista family to adopt a boy named Tarran.

Mer Sernon was charged with trespassing.
