Happenings

The Olympics ended with a closing speech from Princess Thaddia. The winners were the Cockatrice, the Ticanee came in second, and the Chimera clan third!

Prince Torianos, together with Sir Derik, announced a new sort of honor that the Republic would be bestowing upon the best of the best in the guard or military: the Republic Medal of High Honor. He stated that the names of all recipients will be written upon a scroll and placed in the Great Library so that all might know their deeds. When Ellish is recaptured, their names will be inscribed at the bottom of a statue that will be erected in their honor and each of the recipients receives a bonus of 550,000 stenis. The first recepients were Lady High General Zayes Ista-Zayes, Sir General Agarn Anirik and Lord High General Primo Dawn.

Torianos also announced the advent of another firefighting course, offering lessons so Anarinuell will stay safe.

After hearing that Jericho insulted Diamia and Fidelia, Prince Savaren demoted him to Sentry, conscripted Jericho to the military for three years, confined him to barrack duty, sentenced him to find an etiquette teacher, and whipped him until unconscious. All, of course, as a reminder that insubordination and ill-discipline are not to be tolerated.

Tia announced that the caretakers at the Zutiv's Blessing Orphanage would be relieved of their duties as soon as replacements were found. She asked that scrolls be sent.

Father Javier gave a sermon on Zutiv's wrath and how the One True God was angry with the Firans and his wrath would be felt.

Prince Torianos announced that the investigation on the Rissik treason plot was now complete. He decreed that the entire family would remain common, and Chimeran, until such a time that they proved themselves able to regain a noble title. Their land and money became land and money of the clan at large. The underage Rissik children would be fostered with the Elikista family until a decision on their fates was reached.

Bright lights were spotted to the west of the city. Suddenly, griffons were seen in the sky. They flew to the southeast and caused great chaos in the city -- people suspected firebombs and Shamibelians, but it turned out to be another fire. This one was huge and in Sarkaran. Ojitar and Tyrsun took command and put the blaze out. The Lord Governor Ojitar then issued a statement asking people to remain calm -- after all, if there is terror in the people, then the enemies have won! Not long after his statement, rumors circulated about a dreaded shadowy figure - a tall man, rumored to be Shamibelian - who might be behind the recent fires in both Sarkaran and Anarinuell. His organization is complex, his plans inscrutable, but his goal seems clear - to terrorize, frighten and scare the populace.

Judgments

Tia Firgalik was appointed as the Minister of Families in the Gold Dragon Clan.

Lady Proxy Ishani appointed Lord Yaffros as guardian to Lord Talion (the Iberik's interim Head of House). As such, Yaffros will guide the young nobleman in familial decisions.

Mes Tamina was returned to the Cockatrice clan with the assistance of Lord Firistan, Lady Yvette, and Prince Torianos.

Lord Proxy Zafir decreed that the commoner sector of his family would be united under Zaruell, who was named head of house.

Torianos claimed the lands of Mer Kristover Rissik, Mes Yasha Rissik and Mer Orestes Rissik for the Chimera clan, to be divided between himself, Clan Leader Inaya, and Thaddia.

Firistan declared that Raniya, formerly a Gold Dragon, was now a Hydran after having married Malatan.
