Zaridos announced more training sessions!

Lord Judanarius Corinala and Lady Taleena Oshta have begun a courtship. Each will retain their clan citizenship, and heirs of this union will alternate citizenship between the Griffon and Ticanee clans.

Lord Proxy Ojitar made a speech regarding his new governorship of Sarkaran. It went over well with the people and his appointment began with his great hopes for the city.

Griffons appeared over the Old City! Everyone feared an air raid, firebombs -- the worst. It wound up being shards of pottery being showered down over the dilapitated building. The griffons disappeared to the southwest.

Lord Fiero, Palace District overseer, made an announcement about the sculptures that appeared rather suddenly in the palace district. He also announced a contest for artists with the theme of "The Heroes of Anarinuell". The winner receive 1,000,000 stenis, Second Place will receive 500,000 stenis, and Third Place will receive 250,000 stenis. All submissions will need to be turned in between (Jan 30-Feb 28 2007).

The Ticanee have a new Orphanage, to work with the Urtenian Order in raising children of Ticanee birth.

Princess Thaddia ruffled feathers when she made a series of speeches. First, she stepped up as the Olympic Ceremony-starter while insulting people by saying no one else was doing it -- without permission from a proxy or clan leader to make the speech. Then, she insulted people by stating that she did not need permission to make a speech; she's an Elianik! Following that, Thaddia issued a public apology for the speeches, having angered the Viceroy. However, in doing that, Thaddia also declared herself the Viceroy's "princess", to which Lady Taleena took great offense. Taleena then gave a speech accepting an apology she made for Thaddia. The rest of the Viceroy's daughters have not publically issued a statement.

Acting Queen Laytania announced she would take submissions for co-officers of the Social Committee, two or three people who would handle the job while she was busy with other duties.

Tagda announced that Prince Savaren's air force would be training soon and new recruits get a bonus of 30,000 stenis.

A sizzling bolt of lightning flashed in the sky followed by a loud burst of thunder. It struck something deep within the southeastern district of the city of Anarinuell -- the Hydra district.

Fire! Fire! Fires have erupted all over the city, inside the walls, in assorted districts, in the Old City, and even in the Palace District! In fact, one even terrifyingly close to the Palace itself! An Olympic event was postponed due to the upset and there were scrolls found in assorted places about the fires, laughing at the First for being unable to catch whoever is setting them. The city was up in arms in an effort to stop the arsonist from burning more, injuring more, and interrupting the Olympics. As of yet, he or she has not been caught.

The slew of fires prompted Princess Melani, the Republic's minister of children, to speak out about the kids who thought to help. It is not, she explained, a child's place to put out a fire and if any child is found near a fire and is not a victim of said fire, it is therefore a violation of the law. The parents will be the ones to bear the brunt.

After the Tug-of-War event during the Olympics, another Elianik brawl broke out -- but this time, it was with Rislan and Thaddia! The Prince grappled with the Princess, won, and eventually dumped her in the men's side of the baths!

JUDGMENTS

Rilvestio was charged with a number of breaking and entering charges and theft.

Zafir announced the marriage of his commoner brother to a commoner woman.

Lord Rodiste was charged with regulation violation (presumedly for that berry seed to-do!) by Prince Torianos.

Judanus declared Lord Belome Ista Zayes guilty of disobeying his clan leader and of participation in an illegal duel. The judgement declared that Lord Belome forfeits, for a period of three years, all personal revenues to the Griffon Clan. His Head of House has instructions to see that he does not go hungry, nor go cold. He is stripped of his position as Griffon Minister of Justice, and is forbidden from holding position in the Griffon Clan until he has served at the Ellish war front. Further, he is fined 500,000 stenis, and to be lashed until unconscious.

Taria, in reply to Taleena's angry speech (which was in reply to Thaddia's angry speech), declared that Taleena's speech making was restricted to official business only.

Ishani permitted Petula to join the Eagle clan after she wed Kelarik.

Tyrsun charged Ranuk with insubordination. He also found him guilty of that crime. Ranuk spread slanderous lies about a member of the Gold Dragon royal family. The Head of House (Sedarius) decided to disown Ranuk, thereby upholding the good reputation of the Firabi household. Ranuk's belongings were stripped, save for the clothes on his back, and Mes Ryanna Firabi, his wife was granted permission to pursue an honorable divorce.

Fiero charged Furen with theft and regulation violation.

Harvinia and Okatik Swiftpaw adopted Savna.

Fiero charged Rishon with disturbing the peace.
