HAPPENINGS

Rain! After weeks of drought, rain finally came and farmers rejoiced. While the exact reason for Zin's displeasure was not made known, Lord High Priest Donos Ista Aldrik named the Lord Viceroy and Priestess Phillida as being instrumental in helping resolve the issue.

Mes Ladonna Harror held a lesson on correct speaking which was said to be very popular with those who attended.

The 1st Division closed the North Gates out of the Palace District causing delays of merchants, wagons and even nobles. When asked, however, the guards would not reveal what they were looking for.

A vocal minority began to cry for peace - or at least for no campaign to retake Ellish this year. Insisting that if we don't attack the Shamibelians, they won't attack us the protestors incited violence in the forum on numerous occasions. Culminating in a loud speech on the subject by one 'mes Poppy' who insisted that we could save more lives by not attempting to retake Ellish. Mes Poppy was said to have been arrested by Lady Commander Taleena Corinala. Unsurprisingly the Ticanee, Griffons and Gold Dragon clans were particularly outraged at the idea. (OOC RP Tip: If you're from one of these clans, you can always go to a tavern and start a big brawl with anyone who you think isn't patriotic enough.)

Lord High Priest Donos Ista Aldrik announced the creation of the Pirate Children of Zin, a group to teach safe and properly supervised adventure and exploration skills to those children who wish to learn.

Priest Zutimer, the representative of the True Temple from outside Anarinuell was said to have met with High Priest Piarres and whispered rumours have it that the investigation into the missing High Priest Javier was now proceeding. Some even say that there will be an inquisition over the issue. Many Hydran and Gold Dragon families are said to have been pleased with the news.

Sentry Kalina organised an Event Royale within the Ampitheatre hosting all manner of athletic events.

Lord Rodiste N'Gato, accompanied by his wife Lady Yolette, announced the birth of a baby daughter Lady Katrika N'Gato.

Lord Viceroy Taleo announced the appointment of Lady Commander Taleena Corinala as the new joint-coordinator of the festival with Lady Xamori. Lady Taleena went on to announce that she was looking for an aide to train in festival matters.

Clan Leader Torianos announced that the winner of the griffon race between himself and Clan Leader Ojitar was the Gold Dragon Clan Leader.

Following the peace protests, Clan Leader Luna, High Priestess Karana, Clan Leader Diamia, Lady Commander Taleena, Lord General Zafir, Dame High Priestess Alexa, Lord Docci and Princess Selene all spoke in opposition of the Peace protestors message. Princess Selene's speech was particularly noted as she declared she was going to enlist in the Republic military at the end of it.

After Mes Poppy's speech, Lady Melani announced a party for all patriotic members of the Republic with a Battle Royale, drinks, food and many other games to celebrate the Republic.

Clan Leader Torianos announced the opening of the Lion's Gate Apartments for Chimeran citizens.

Clan Leader Diamia offered to pay for homes to be built within the district for all Cockatrice citizens in good standing.

High Priestess Karana announced that the charity auction for the Forest Lord's Fund and the Republic Military brought in nearly eight million stenis.

Mes Timandra lectured the city on the proper ways to behave with scrolls from the Great Library.

Lady Kenilla Didoron was appointed Minister of Hospitality for the Cockatrice clan.

The winner of the Great Library Debate was declared to be Mer Orsatos.

JUDGMENTS

• Lord Docci Ista Aldrik ruled that until Lord Talion Iberik satisfies the judgment against him by his Clan Leader and apologises in person to Lord Docci, Lord High Priest Donos and to Clan Leader Fidelia he is barred from the Bear District on pain of trespass.
